    my buddy danny worked on rage for a short period of time... environment artist. then he started slacking off, being irresponsible, etc, and lost the job.
    he's a fucking idiot. i told him he was too. id is a great company and he totally fucked it up. now he lives with his mom.
    its sad really... i miss the good ol days when he wasn't a fuck up. haha


    these pieces are awesome. especially the 2 for rage, would love to see more. i guess we cant see anymore until the game ships huh?

    I've the seen the id tech 5 demo somewhere. Is it really that easy and fast, like painting on a 3d mesh? Do you actually du this grunt work or a you only doing conepts?
    Carmack said, that the levels geometry is still build in 3dmax and Co and that you can smack as much textures on it as you want?! Can you draw your own tiles? How complex can the geometry of a level get?
    He said, he has a vision of id tech 6 where the geometry also will be sculptable in engine? Is it a good thing?
    I hope its not to much to ask =)
