    Arrow Ego and Soul

    Hi,

I'm new to digital painting and don't have any background in Traditional painting/drawing, I just love it as a creative tool to express my creative thoughts,

This is my second job, begin from doodling in photoshop with my genius 8x6 tablet and end-up to this job after 2 days of full work.

This is about internal war between cold and depressed ego vs. warm and illuminated soul, actually truth about my life.

Please help me to complete this job with your useful critique's and new ideas.

    Thanks
hope you like it from amateur artist...
    Sorry for my english grammar

I find it interesting that your cold and depressed soul looks more comfortable in its setting than your warm and illuminated one, which looks petrified. Is it intentional? The blackness in the background needs something, maybe a kind of tug-of-war faintly shown?

This is not intentional, but this is truth and comes from subconscious, because when I painting, usually free my minds and let it flow...most of the times subconscious express deep and hidden truth's about my personality and life...

I work on tug-of-war in background, thanks for the idea...

I think maybe the blue side would feel more balance with the other side if instead of just bringing the wall up you extend it a little more to the other side. Not really sure with what's going on in the bottom right corner I don't think you need it.

Is that an 8 on the figures shirt? Or an infinity? I can't tell haha.

I thought the drift was from your subconscious.

Don’t worry about your grammar, I understand you perfectly.
