Awesome pencilwork! It reminds me a lot of my own characters and themes, but with a far better style. My only crit would be the heads and hands proportions, they often seem too small. Btw, are you a fan of Soul Calibur too?
I'll keep an eye on that sketchbook! Keep it up!
Yeah the head size is intentional. The proportions are long legs short waste, and the body ends up being like 10 heads tall which adds the feel of extreme power. The hands do need to be bigger in that case...because big hands represents strength. If you have ever seen the amine series Berserk, Guts proportion is freaking 10 1/2 heads tall I swear. Since greek gods are 8 1/2 heads tall...10 heads is pushing the boundary of freaky I guess.
Maybe ile try some normal sized characters to mix it up a bit.
Here is the last few pages of this summers sketchbook.
So its been along time since I updated this page!!! I have been very busy working on my craft over the past few years though and cant wait to rejoin this art community!! I have been keeping up to date with my work on my facebook, blogger, and my own personal website. I will keep this sketchook up to date from now on. Like the new facebook features and photo uploader! There are so many drawings to show I am just going to show a very small amount of what ive done over the past 2 or 3 years since I last posted! Feel free to comment! I am nearing the finish of my education at the Academy of Art University of San Francisco and need as much help as possible to improve in a short amount of time!!
Here is some more work that I have been doing in my sketchbooks!!
(FIXED LINKS) I think this is all the sketches I want to upload for this week. It was a ton of fun making all these . I hope I am getting closer to the goal of being a concept artist/illustrator.
Did this one for fun in my huge custom sketchbook I made

sweet work, I really like the details you put in those drawings. and you have a vivid imagination :-) You seem to have improved A LOT.
Thank you Schwarzmaler!!! I appreciate it .
I made this picture to show how much ive progressed in the past few years, I gotta update it since I made it back in 2009.
That is some great pencil work and I can see the evolution emerging. Every time you do one you get closer and closer to achieving what you want. I'm very happy when I see sketchbooks like these. Keep working , you'll definetly get there.

Here is a drawing I call assassination. Its a ninja assassinating a Kingpin in his bedroom film noir style. Thinking of having some half naked prostitutes in the background watching in horror.
planning out the lighting and mood
Continuing to do some more value to this piece. Also did some quick concept sketches for a project I am working on.

Man, your stuff is fantastic!
These painting in front of your blog! Really sweet, love these one with Blades of apocalypse either, and many more.
Added folder with your name to my inspirations archive
Just to don't be completely ass kisser i think that these painting where you got girl with bow is slightly weaker. There's something with her face that makes it looks a bit unnatural.
But other than that 5 stars by me
Tsabu! Thanks so much for your kind words! I appreciate it! Glad to hear my works inspire . Yeah the woman with a bow has issues I should go fix sometime.
Here is a heroic figure charging into battle sketch. Would be nice to finish it in a painting.
