I voted for Me, Myself and Me Again (which is rude, because the rules say don't vote to yourself. Ha. Ahahaha.)

Your entry in my opinion was the most believable as a brand new creature. I can see the macaque, I can see the armadillo, and I also see a new animal. The expression looks crazy and cool and the rendering is really good, except perhaps for a little flatness around the paws. I think giving him a bit of an environment, even just a hint, could make him feel more at home.

Hybrid, like I said - your creature is looking real interesting, especially the face. I wish I could see a finished piece.

Gib, they look so natural that for a moment I thought, "so where's the combination"?...the pose works really nicely with the armadillo heads, but personally I'm missing a crazier mix of both animals, rather than using the arms and legs of one with the head of another.

artiphats, I think the combination of colors on the macadillo looks good and helps tie the different animal parts together, but to me it still feels a little like a monkey "dressed" as an armadillo, mostly becasue of the shell's lack of connection to the body.

Jockemon, your macadillo is great. That sharp, edgy Flash look is refreshing and works well with your stylized design. Only thing I'm not sure about is the legs....do monkeys sit like that?

Hope to see y'all (and everyone who couldn't make it to this round) in the next one!

Went with Chate Noire's confection. Fantastic lighting and rendering.
Nice variety in the overall interpretation of the Macadillo.

    Good job everyone!

Me,Myself & Me again : Nice concept and render. I like especial the snout design.
It's funny, while watching your Macadillo, I recogniced where the main weakness of mine lies. Monkeys gestures are very recognizable and applying such a pose, shifts the focus heavy towards macaque. At least you where clever enought to counter that by adding armor pieces.

Hybrid_75: I scrolled three times up and down before I voted. Very strong creature concept.

artiphats: Looks like you tried to mix the colour scheme of both species. Would have been interesting to see a polished render. The creature design is nice and shows clearly macaque and armadillo.

Jockemon: Lovely creature. I'm not shure about the family tree. Maybe great-grandfather was a armadillo. But I think mother had something going with a foxfrog.

ChateNoire: Got my vote for the best all around presentation and of course for the bubbles above the tail.
