here's the finished thing, it is supposed to be a caricature... but I think the style is a tad too serious

    WOOO! BRO!
    awesome awesome awesome
    hard work!
Loving this sketchbook please please please dont ever stop! the more work you do, the quicker you'll get,, the more you'll improve and if you keep at this pace soon enough you'll be doing more
This is awesome its all very clearly helping!
Am going back to the bones too but taking my own advice on what i said to you and just seeing the movments of them and where muscles connect and joints blah blah
This really great all them studies are paying off
Dude serouisley though please please take some time to do your own drawings of people, it will harm you if you do more studies and less drawings from mind. Trust ME it will really hurt your mind drawings ability and you'll start to get bored because theres not much mind drawing to prove your improvment.
    Only crits i have
    Keep it up!

alright alright, I'll never ever stop and that will eb all your fault!

do as you please with the bones, my method is only suitable for super detail knowledge so I wouldn't recommend it if you're not really interested in the why and not just what. As I said, I wanna know how the things work and not only how they behave so I can play god myself oneday the bone surface also gives some hints about attaching mucles and how they are layed over them, it's all shaped for a reason. Besides it gives me some training in memorizing detailed stuff.

    and now late night stuff

    and 30 seconds again

another WIP, I gotta hurry if I wanna finish that ere october.

and the final for the different media stuff, another sucky color pencil

11 pictures to be done still

Hah, post 100 and the mission is accomplished!... to 80%...

    >151 / 150 images made (I couldn't post some because they had to be left at school)
    75/75 P ractice
    25/25 S tudy
5/5 pics with different media than pencil or digital
0/1 finished pieces should ahve started it earlier, school work then took all the time i needed for it away. well, it was also due to being lazy a bit

here are the last few pics

    still WIP..

Goal for october would be... daily environment study.
I don't want to go into mass production so soon again

No realy crits or advice here. Just, keep on going. I browsed through the whole SB, and you are on a great track! Keep doing what you are doing, you seem to be getting better and better.
Btw. How come you have a finnish name?

Algenpfleger - thanks, I shall do that!

Jho - nice to hear that! As for my name, I used it almost on everything recently since I first chose it for a pseudonym within the band I'm in. I hadn't much time to decide then so I picked the most uncreative word which derives basically from a song I really much liked
and since I think misery or anything like that gives the strongest motivation to overcome the current situation and develope into something greater the meaning was pretty much what I was looking for anyway. Well, I don't want to get philosophical right now, so I leave that statement as simplified as it is and rather post some pictures!

Nice studies man. I would try and simplify some of your shapes before you detail them in your illustrations. Try and find the planes and figure the lighting out there first. Keep on practicing, it is paying off.

KelsM - yeah, thanks for reminding me about that. I usually do that when studying, but things from imagination seem to make me think in a different way to approach a subject.

And now for some SPARTA, which menas 300th image in this SB (alright, alright... I'll stop counting from now on <.<)
seems like it brought some improvement in pencil rendering with it

and more WIP I guess it won't be finished before I post another 5 progress versions of it ( I actually think I didn't work on it more than 5 hours so far)
