I really enjoy going through your sketch book! All kinds of fun stuff in here-the figure work is going really great. Where do you study? I was considering going to the academy of art uni. there in san fran. Still am kinda. Thanks for sharing!

Hey! I went to the academy of art to get my AA. I now currently reside in San Jose just starting up my own production portfolio as well as my illustration portolio!

I'm really enjoying your discipline in studying anatomy and your choice of line placement. Your most recent gesture drawings are seriously good!

Just draw your ass off. Whatever you do, don't -- stop -- drawing...

    Hey Chaser!

Some really impressive work you have here. Your life drawings are excellent, they make me miss the life drawing classes I used to do. I should really get my hands dirty with charcoal again sometime soon. I look forward to seeing more!

Jaro Thanks! I'd like to see how you handle charcoal.
dU5K That guy is interesting to draw ^_^

Taking a break from doing Bridgman, and started studying from figure artists of today. Starting off with Hope Railey, there are 3 portraits I did from life mixed in.

    Thumbs up

    Nice SB...

I really dug this one, and this one was very well done.

And the 5-pt perspective was downright wacky cool. Excellent stuff here.

Nah, I'm not being sarcastic......just telling the truth.

That portrait looks a bit like Angelina Jolie (maybe due to the lips), but then, my mind tells me it can't really be Angelina Jolie, because as we all know, she's not as pretty as in your drawing.

Maybe you can do a Jennifer Aniston one day! Hottest chick in Hollywood!

Before we knew eachother, that day when we posted the rough drafts for the analogous portrait, when I saw yours I said to craig, "who the hell is this crazy motherfucker!?!".

I just thought you should know.

Wow your latest studies are great, where you use strong line and smooth shades with the side of your pencil. You get a lot of information and movement in such a short time. Looks like solid stuff as well, would like to see some more of these.
