    A hopeful cartoonist's sketchbook

Hey, everyone. My name is Anthony Massa, and I've been drawing for about 10 years now. I've just recently started getting VERY serious about my art so I've still got a waaays to improve. Here are some examples of my work:

As you can see, I like doing comic strips and cartoons. I do do life drawings occasionally (which I MUST start doing more) but cartoons are a real passion of mine. And yes, I'm aware that there are some slight 'anime-ish' ticks in my drawings, but before it's just the way I draw eyes I guess. I was going for a more classic cartoon look, but ah well.

Feel free to critique aaanything you'd like. Don't be afraid to REALLY judge me. Just try not to actually like...hurt me XD Thanks.

    Huh. I could have sworn...

That I posted a comment already. O.o; Aw well.

Glad to see you finally on here. X3 Now to get some feedback from the community! I do hope people stop by and comment on here as much as I want them to on my own sketchbook. And yes, you should really get into Life Drawing.

    Keep on drawin. ;D

    Not bad!

I definitely stress that you try to work on backgrounds. Really spend some time getting your lines straight, and keeping the windows consistent. It looks like you didn't work all that hard on making the BG look good, so keep that in mind the next strip ya do! A good background can really affect a picture. ;P

Richie's forearms are much too large, so make sure to shrink them. Look at your own forearms and try to apply that to your comics. Same thing with the book, try holding a book, or looking up pictures of people holding books to help you put that on paper.

Keep up the hard work! And keep updating!

"Looking for critiques! Any help is appreciated."
