Thanks yall, heres some more weirdness from today, worked great as a perspective and smooth surface rendering study

Icecold: Im sorry but i dont know how to explain it, i just scribble a lot with a low opacity settings and pen pressure to get the feel i want, nothing too fancy

Kendall: No story, just some midnight inspiration

You have an absolutely stunning sketchbook, but you probably know that already. I love how you leave a feel of your strokes, gives off a very tactile texture. Really inspiring stuff.

I love you, but Imma have to ask you to do some Damn life studies!

try to focus on differentiating your edges and textures. You do amazing work with your simple brushes. Ide like to see you push forms a bit more.

i feel like some of your colors are dingy and lack concise choice. Look at jaime Jones or Daniel Gardner's work. Try to keep things fresh and intentional.

Hope the critique helps. I know you dont get a lot around here.

Hope everything is well. Stay fly!

Hey dude the last painting you spent 14h on looks great! One thing that bugs me a bit is the lighting, I feel the lighting should be dimmer farther down. Feels like it's more or less staying the same value to long.

Here's some crits I have, I feel the biggest eye is better off farther to the side compositionally. I feel it flows better. I feel your over rendering the details in the darks, keep the details in the lights, but in the darks they should be toned down. If your in a dark room all the details start blurring together.

I think maybe a few more eyes above her head would add focus.

Also i feel the tentical above her could be bent just a bit more. Just to push the general flow you have going.

Anyways take it with a grain of salt. Sure it's finished, but I just think you can push it more. And like I just used cheap photoshop tricks for the crit. I think it's much much more valuable to hand paint it with glazes of color or a more direct painting method. I feel it gets in my head more. Even if what could take a few min takes a few days instead. Also I find I'm learning a lot lately just by looking really really hard for mistakes. If I have to sit there and stare at my image for 30 min flipping the image around zooming in and out just to start seeing something I think it's worth it.

Damn Pars, you been doin some crazy things in here.
I agree with Nia that flattening out a little in the shadows and towards corners
could really give your stuff some focus and visually pull the viewer to whatever you
want them to look at. But I dunno your strokes are such like a "you" thing you gotta
find some way to do both I feel.

I dunno why but that piece in #2257 really gets me. I have dreams in colors like that, really dig it. And damn I been meaning you message you again since I missed you on
chat such a long time ago....I'll have to remember this time. Take care dude.

You and your brilliant colour scheme has done it again, and i can see some more of your art once again. Great as usual! Perhaps try doing some foreshortening or complex composition drawings to take it even further!
Thanks for sharing your pencil work a few pages back. I don't think i saw any more in this sketch book before. It's nice seeing your pencil style as well.

You, sir, are a chameleon. Not just in terms of the kinds of art you do; but in terms of what you look like Your avatar looks like one guy, the pic in the "what people look like" thread looks like another, and this hatted fellow looks like another

Good jub, btw. Looks very solid and human (non-zombie)
