Cool, that armor looks convincing! Though I think that guy's shield is a bit wonky.

The screencap looks pretty good, but I think you're still shrinking the features (especially noticeable with the nostrils.

!!! For that movie study, which brush did you use for her face? A hard round or a soft round? I'm trying to get that same hard but still soft (lol ) effect.

I love that girl with the helm.

    Great last one to.

I know what ya mean but I think its better organization - Last one went for 3 years I think (just about) - Hopefully the new one lasts for 4 - and then onto my final one which will hopefully last forever

My observational skills may be great but i said nothing about my drawing skills

Gaah so much quality in so little time man, liking the last portrait definatlely got a sense of horror that Rapoza or even Brad Rigney goes for. Great Success!

That last guy is all like gurrrrrrrrrrrr. im angry. On the digital stuff, turning a lot of the hard round marks into more thoughtfully designed shapes can help push the painterly feel a bit more, your values are getting crazy good dude.

What the hell man, you are improving way too fast. Also, four updates in a day? I think that is a new record--you make us mortals feel so lazy.

The last one looks real good, only thing is I find it a bit strange that the hair shows no light hitting it at all (other than rimlight). I think it would be good to keep the lighting on the hair downplayed, but just a hint of some lighter tones might do some good (just my opinion though).

Keep up these crazy updates man!

Your late reference paintings not always precise, but imaginative artwork is really great, and values simply rock! Happy New Year mate!

you've got some great studies and works here, it's still new for me to sketch with painter so it's really inspiring to see someone who does it on a regular basis.
Keep up with those studies and sketches.

That portrait rocks, maybe to make more details on his hair and to put some light in background because if i see he have some background light ,try some experiments with that

thanks yall, i dont have time to reply to each one of you separately, too much painting to do Just wanna say thank you all very much, especially for the critique!

    --------------
i started by making a remake of an old painting of mine from last summer, the demon lady, but it turns out that my ambition is far greater than just that so it just turns out to be a full scale illustration instead first, the line art and then the version with values and shadings and whatnot
