Im currently working on the month chow, the monarc, ill post some wips of it in my next update... heres a update for the jungle scene and a 1 hour speedie!
i love sooo much this little house!!!!!!!!!!!you need more bonus for works like these
you and your enviros!!!I think your blocking of colors etc is better than the jungle piece because it gives a more tactile surface with better brushtroke or something. The jungle have your nice illuminance style but maybe misses some very focus regions to keep the eye a little more?
Little house on the rock looks good with the eye going to the house, and it pops out nicelly, and takes your eye.
With the jungle, I think the you've accomplised a wet, swampy feeling in it, and the palette, I think, looks good. However, I think you need to come up with something to move the eyearound and catch the focus like in the house image. Let it be color, texture, sharpness, reflextivity, or whatever, I belive there's an endless amount of opportunities here, and you should go with the one that you feel right.
Nice work, I help you a bit on your progress to the fifth star..
*btw, nice effort on the steampunkguy. It paid off, looks great!
Your stuf is so nice I love the "cabin" by the shore, great colors and everything!
Was wondering where you went Ė but those big projects explain things! Really nice concept on the giant. Wonderful details and design. I canít shake the feeling he does not quite blend in with the environment,. It really looks like an arctic, snowy environment, but how big are those rocks exactly? Having trouble figuring out the scale. Or perhaps itís the lighting on the giant himself. The warm light source is behind him, but his front seems lit up. You can argue itís the snow, but at that size? Lastly from looking at the Wip Gif (nice to add!); seems the snow environment was not part of the original plan (correct me when wrong). Adding this late in the process can be troublesome.
I like him a lot as a character though, to lighten up this seemingly critical commentÖ.
Those speedpaints in 727 and 733 are amazing Ė especially the portraits. I donít get how you produce a portrait in such a timespan, considering how good the mood and character are. So loose!
Iím sure youíre familiar with the speedpainting threads at Sijun? If not, I think you'll like it.
Keep it going!
Man those enviro are sick bro. the soldier one is so! sick and those are speed painting damn lol. Nothing really to say other then they look good.

An illustration for an art battle between me and Randis, heres the topic:
"The brave little toaster was soon drafted into the Appliance Marines after his first outing. Unwilling at first, the brave little toaster was soon thrown into combat to be raised by hellfire and the lullaby of mortar strikes. A now cold, broken warrior, illustrate the wartorn, loveless killer In a shit town saloon reminiscing what could have been."
and a fast speedpaint of a robotic mite, and a wip of an interior project
Thx for stopping by. And I have to tell you then, do you have any idea how much you have improven the last 26 pages? I hope you do! the last posts is really amazing, the toaster looks so sad :/ but so beuituflly rendered hehe. The avsolut last drawing shows what a great interior artist you are, you really capture the feeling in the worlds you create. Keep it up Im glad to see you are just getting better and better for every day.
haha the brave little toaster!! i was just thinking of that movie not that long ago, weird! but i love this painting, great mood and atmosphere in it! -any one daring enough to meet Randis head on in an art challenge, has balls of fury my friend! keep rocking on!
