Hey good tenacity and work! You're def going in the right direction. The creature sketch is looking good.

I know you're done with the CHOW piece, but just wanted to point out that his torso and arms seem out of proportion. In most cases when the arm is held to the side the elbow should line up with the bottom of the rib cage, so right now the guy's left arm seems kinda short. Always next time.

The oil piece is well done. I like the many variation in blues you put in, but the painting still isn't dirty. The values and brushstrokes are nice too, though maybe his forehead is bit flat.

Perhaps making your digital pieces more painterly? You've got a good handle on your marks traditionally, but sometimes your digital stuff is muddy.

    Keep up the good work.

hey Par! That's some amazing work, looks so real I have a really hard time giving you constructive critique because you are so good at this but here's a try atleast. I think it looks amazing but if I has to say anything it would be that her ringfinger looks a little bit fater then it outa be. But the angle might make it look like that in the photo to. I hope you don't get mad I'm just practicing on helping and I know I don't really know much about this. Keep up the good work

    Cheers/ your friend PMB

I can see where your attention was - her breasts have been painted extremely well.

I didn't think it was possible to be called an artist when you have nothing to say. It's like being a writer who publishes individual words as books and expects to be praised for it.

Cool stuff again man, I really like the daft looking beast of burden and the oils are very nice. Really looking forward to seeing the something-bigger-than-usual thing.

That last study certainly is a 'level up'. Your figures can be a bit 'washed out' occasionally, as if you're afraid to put strong definitions in there. (getting the same problem, especially in female figures) But this last piece has some very strong definitions while still looking smooth, feminine, realistic. I'm guessing it all comes down to picking the right values and placement of those plane breaks. Really nice job.

Think you already noticed you may need some practice in perspective (as you used lines on the previous page). It's apparent in some of the backgrounds and environments. Not too good at this myself so I'll be careful here. I know still lives work, as well as drawing everything around you in your sketchbook. So that you simply develop a 'feel'for it, and don't always have to use lines. For digital, I know some people use a grid, which they construct themselves, import in every new piece, and use it as guidance on a seperate layer (allowing transformation etc to match the specific piece). Just food for thought.

Also since I saw a creature last page - join the CoW someday There's a lot of character in that creature, think it's a very promising sketch. And like one of the first creatures I've seen of you. But yea I'm a creature fan. Would love to see one of yours finished. Else I might give him a makeover. Could be an interesting collab.

Keep experimenting with those colours. Especially in the latest pieces, they are really strengthening the mood. Judging from some of the sketches, you seem to start with a broad palette. Or am I wrong here? Just interested in your workflow, hehe.
    Really nice going.

    Hiya

Great study!! the textures and freckles on her skin finish it off nicely (will have to make a mental note and use this technique ) Her breasts (though lovingly rendered ) are off centre, the one nearest us is a bit too fat compared to it's sister, maybe it's the cleavage line that isn't central in relation to her neck? or you've carried it round too much to her side, I can't tell. Anyway regardless, it's lovely...keep it up!

PS..don't know if you visit the lounge much but I used your photo from the 'What everyone looks like' thread for a painting and posted it here...http://www.conceptart.org/forums/sho...152123&page=48

hope you like! thanks for a great reference photo!

Man, you're an inspiration. Such leap in the skills. Those chows are looking good and I like the idea where the guy is reading the magic book.

That aqua color scene is awesome. I really like the atmosphere and how you are telling the story.

Also liking the last one where the guy is riding the monster. Great concept, would like to see how far you can go with that
