I really like how you are tackling as many challenges as you can get your hands on. Chow, EoW, the team chow.

And they all seem to be turning out, keep up the hard work

Had a browse through your SB. I really like your more traditional stuff. Your pencil work has a liveliness about it.

I didn't think it was possible to be called an artist when you have nothing to say. It's like being a writer who publishes individual words as books and expects to be praised for it.

Mate the magus is gonna be a really great piece.Dont forget to add some "sharpen" areas(maybe i should say more focused) to break any blur overall effects.Definitely keep working on this.
On the woman, the upper cloth doesnt follow the curve of the 3d chest form and flattens it.On the base body make some construction lines to indicate the 3d mass(will help you do the placement of equipment)

Keep up the good work(especially work the magus)

    see ya

Ooh snap! Your envos look as awesome as always!
The first figure seems a bit flat though, and i'd like to see a better defined light source too

    Nice start with the oils!

    Hello Former Noodle
Like the new name btw, nice to try and pronounce, is it Japanese?

Well. Wow dude! what can I say, you're just improving so much in a short space of time, keep it up! I've just realised though that my link to your sketchbook couldn't be working right, I hadn't seen any of your work from page 12 onwards but I'm sure I checked your SB recently and didn't see anything (must be the name change) - felt a bit surreal discovering all those extra pages (I am tiiiired today that added to the surrealness)

anyway glad I did...I love the recent portraits and you're definitley getting better in oils (keep at it) I particularly like the Amazon in the water with the head that is one of your better figure paintings, so expressive that I can almost feel the story behind it, also maybe because the redhead warrior turns up alot in here (you should write one for her and illustrate it?!)

Also blown away by the enviro school project you did in post 468 you can really paint trees, especially the foreground one! and the colours are spectacular..

animated GIFs are my favourites though really well put together and drawn (I need to learn how to do that)

only crit is your women have thick waists and seem a bit stiff in their posture but I like that you don't go to the obvious big breasts and small hips (as a pear shaped woman myself, makes me smile)

    will check back regularly dude

Some new udpates on both the magus and the recent oil painting. I dont know if im going to the direction I want to with the magus. I lost some good process with it due to system failure (ofc i had to forget pressing that damn ctrl + s) And it had all this very nice background stuff. Well ill see what comes of it...

Your SB is great. Great level. I love the wheel of fortune.
Everything in your thread looks great, if anything, I've noticed that perhaps for this mania that we all have of never finish anything, you tend to leave some borthers undefined and some values without fading smoothly. I'm beign picky at saying this, but is manly because such a simple thing could be so easily solved and pays so much that I couldn't shout my mouth. In any case, everything looks great and full of ideas.

It's really fun that you keep on checking in my sketchbook even though you are a great artist and I've just started drawing. I love the girl laying by the skulls and the last pic with the crow is awesome, great atmosphere in the landscape. I am looking forward to seeing more! You know that you are one of my great influences which makes me wanna get better and better, be proud of that.

    Nice update!
The oil painting has some really nice tones. I like that rosy purple.

The magus is starting to look really good too. I am curious how that background will turn out in the end, cuzz i see you spending a lot of time on this.

    Thumbs up

Cool SB! Really like the bluebird process gif. Looks like you're making strides on your nudes/skin-tone too.

Would like to see more dynamic poses in some of your originals...like the gladiators for example. Otherwise an epic work with composition, view angle and depth.

Still think his right boob should be lower than his left to match the shoulders.

    Hiya Broccoli Dog

The Mage is looking niice, loving the expression and the goo and the lighting good too! Does look like you've fallen out with it at some point, happens to us all!
Anyway, I'll look out for that in the CHOW...

..speedpaints are cool, both in their own way, that's definitely one of your strong points.
