    for studies!!!

keep it up, i can see improvement already. good to see you starting to understand "bounced lighting/reflected lighting".

and dude, if you have something to add to what you've said and no one has replied in between, you can always "edit" your last post, and add whatever new thing you need to say at the end of your previous post. there's no prize for having lots of posts, and having lots of empty posts in your sketchbook. it'll make your sketchthread cleaner and more grown-up-like.

    happy belated birthday.

YEAAAAAAH ! You've decided to listen advices !! I really recommend you Loomis' books, t will learn your basics ( and more )of anatomy, perspective, composition, and some other stuff ! Here is the link >> Loomis<< ( just right click on books cover and "save as"). So Keep your studies up, and in a few month you will be a killer

This reminds me of my first sketchbook, an anime-esque art style. Stay away from that, you'll get stuck there for a long time and that'll hold you back. I did that, I tried to stay in defined styles but now I'm doing studies and the like. Very late, but better late then never.

If you don't have any money or can't head to the library try checking out some Art E-books http://www.conceptart.org/forums/sho...d.php?t=131117

The downloads helped me greatly, first download Bridgman and Loomis. I drooled over Loomis and it's intimidating at first especially when your art doesn't look like anything you're trying to draw but keep going and keep learning.

good stuff, but in post #96 the egg will not get the same shade as the ball, fetch an egg from the fridge and get some hard light on it, then try to paint it

I am in awe of the amount of patience people have in you.. Besides the fact that you've done a tiny bit of anatomy and some small studies, I have no idea of what you are trying to achieve.

Please, do yourself a favor and get off your ass and do something worthwhile.

    MY SKETCHBOOK

I know it's all been done before, I want to do it again. I want to do it again.

kasper - have a little grace man...we've all been at that stage sometime in our lives. let's see how we can help.

momo - though kasper was harsh with the way he said it, he's saying basically the same things that many of us have been saying...if you want to get better, you need to do more studies, and keep taking the advice that people give you. you started off on the right track with the light studies, but one study doth not an expert make. the red-shirted character is the best thing i've seen from you here, but you still need lots of work on lighting (as many of us do and are still learning how to do). dStrax gave you a great idea for a study in post 100, you can't miss it. why don't you give that a try? and don't just make up stuff out of your head for studies just yet. get real objects, and try to draw them as best as you can. we can help with advice along the way, but you gotta put in the mileage. merry christmas, congrats on the intuos; put it to good use with some studies.

i cant believe, after so much time, advice...very very good advice, that other people will beg and plead for, you still dont listen, and still dont care
purb has helped me shitloads in the past, and id listen to him if i were you.

stop making excuses for not drawing "oh i got guitar hero" or saying youre going to, dude youve been "saying" youre going to since you joined
even when im not on here, which i havent been for a while, i have something to show for it
im pretty sure before you edited your first post, it was something along the lines of i want to do this for a living etc or i want to improve.
people are giving you this on a plate, take it
and if you dont care for what people think, id recommend re-thinking what you want to be doing in the future

i would compliment the study...if you did more than 2...you started to listen, people complemented you, and you went out of your depth again

get your thumb out of your ass and listen to people

Up shit creek with a poo for a paddle
