I can't believe I hadn't yet stumbled on your sketchbook yet. Really really nice stuff, great knowledge of light with the last pieces, plus I was admiring some more finished stuff on your blogspot (the ones with the exaggerated perspectives are awesome).
I'm going slowly back in your sb to pick up some hints and ideas on your methods, thank you!
WOW! super awesome! I love the last few portraits! I am going to have to try my hand at that. Thanks for sharing! This is really inspirational stuff. I would love to get my digital work to that level.
Thanks again-keep posting!
Hey man, thanks for stopping by my sketchbook! This last post looks great! How do you work the perspective on a person like that? Do you use photo reference?
Also, do you use photos for the old men? I have a surprisingly hard time finding a good photo. The portraits just have so much life. Do you manipulate the form or color at all?
Keep posting! This stuff ROCKS!
Sirkennet, most of time i use photo for my base, then i change it. For old man i also use photo, it was just practice so i didn't change anything. Thanks anyway
Strassenpenner, thanks man, glad you like it.
