trying to "push" this one and create movie scene. What we have here is classical "over the shoulder" frame where two people are talking. Just wanna get some emotion from it, although main character already has all that needs

flippin brilliant! and done so quickly..do you sleep?

although as much as it draws me to his face, i want to see the back of his head distorted as well...hmmm...meh..

maybe not..just a thought to entertain.

and ahhh yes bricktop..couldn't remember the name, you happen to see rock n rolla as well?

    ...the imperfections make it interesting...

Hey there! This is a great painting so far the way his face is skewed gives it a lot of emotion, and those cloth textures are fabulous!

Maybe include some more light in the piece somehow? Maybe it's too dark overall

I dont want to pull up something from way back, but I just skimmed through your entire sketchbook, and I love your robotic body armor designs from pages 17 and 18; having the insight and creativity to create armor that would actually work in real life is a real gift! Ir reminds me of metal gear solid designs.

....but that aside, your sketchbook is amazing....

Thanks kingkostas, glad you like it man, i will try even more
Thanks Dope Fiend, it's because i have more time for some personal work, and i am enjoying it. I think i will leave "deformed" head just for main character since he is the one who carry entire emotion of image since it's called "fuck off" . I watched rocknrolla, it was fun
Thanks kiwigarbage, i will include more light as soon as i get all characters to feel right, but i wanted that dim/smoky backroom light
Thanks Metal Fingers, yeah it is fun
Thanks SandyMan, glad you like that since i have put allot of energy into it, here is tv commercial http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tXASSATaBP0
    Thanks maanas 93
Thanks Sergey, glad you stop by. I saw your latest work man, and you rock, i want them on my studio wall!!!!!!

    Thanks guys

Here is little experiment i am having fun with tonight. I did this one in 45 min, still didn't finish it, and character isn't same as original, but that was irrelevant. Idea behind this experiment was to get that "oil on canvas" feel(i have wrote this sentence million times by now)

    First i will post process,

    and here is original

and here we have detail shoot of digital one and original

Hope you will find it interesting

Wow, great work! Loving that movie scene, really has a great atmosphere to it! The digital recreation of that oil on canvas is looking great as well, maybe use an even rougher brush? Not shure ...
