Those pencils! O_o congrats!
Awesome thread, me likie! I second what Ramalooke and LtPlissken said about this last post. You definitely can start adding more details and texture onto the main character. I would also suggest you to tweak lighting in the scene a little bit, it looks a bit confusing (in opinion anyway ). Other than that, great stuff! Keep rocking those brush strokes!
U JUST GOT PAWED!
Ok I just have to say, I really love your pencil work, especially the one you posted in the Daggers not so long ago. Please post more
That Chow is looking good but you gotta watch those edges. The character is falling into the background a lot. I think its because you have lots of tangents too. Like the sword and the guys in the back. And their swords and her legs. She doesnt pop much.
Im sure you'll be ironing that out anyways though
Keep up the good work. Nice life drawings too!
Ven S Thank you, i promise i"ll post more as soon as i get more studies done...
PHATandy Thanks, i started it as a way of getting back to painting, so i'm not sure if i"ll spend more time on that fail.... thanks anyways for the input.
Here is something i finished few hours ago, still got some stuff to fix in it tomorrow, any thoughts on that?
I tried to keep it in simple traditional comic book style - prepared to be inked.
wonderful lines, i must agree with hat Ramalooke said the amount of detail hurts my eye a bit, maybe you should look into that, build the image from outside in letting the most details close to the focus point
but regardless of this, wonderful art
QvQ

Ludic Thanks mate
Ramalooke I tried to apply something new this time...to make the character the main subject of the pic by putting many details around her and very few on her..that's what they use to draw good manga, so i wanted to try this on my on style... apparently not so successfully.
m0uS3r Thank you i"ll try to put some more thought in it.
Creusa Spasib, kak ya uze otvetil Ramalooke, ya pitalsya poprobovaty risovaty kak nekotorie delaut mangu, super detalisirovanaya okruzushaya sreda i minimalisticheskiy podhod k samomu personagu..... pohoze ne hrena ne poluchilosy
Here are some promised paintry stuff, two value studies from head and a WIP that i started today.
more on the chick pic... used some advises from SamC...trying to make it look more attractive and improve the "story" behind the pic.
Edit: i know there are body proportion issues with the girl, will fix it later.
I see some cool stuff here, your biggest weakness are value range work on that do some life drawings with pencils or some black and whites with the wacom.
אני לא רואה מגן דוד על הדגל... מה הפחד שלא יכנסו לסקצ"בוק שלך כי אתה ישראלי? אם כן אז גם ככה עדיף שלא יכנסו...
Hhhh...no i'm not ashamed/afraid that i'm from Israel, i've got it written in my avatar, i just couldn't make the Magen David look right so decided to leave for now...
Anyways, always glad to hear from you, cheers mate

Thank you glad you like it.
Here is a lil update on the pic from today's stream got too frustrated with it due to lack of "story" behind the pic....any suggestions mainly on the composition would be greatly appreciated...oh well back to the drawing board for me.
PS. I was really pissed at some "hack inker" gal on DA, who's acting like a mod in one of the groups. Talking to her was like talking to a wooden log, eventually it's ended with my posts flagged as spam (wtf???) and me quitting that group.
I just really hope that CA wont turn into one of these places...because i'm starting to see the sprouts of that crap here too.
Anyways the pic.
keep practicing dude just keep practicing you are making good progress especially in the color devision, your values could use most of your attention though, especially in the last pic you did with the dog and girl ( I like the flag) it doesnt have a very strong composition and the values could use some work. I suggest you practice creating thumbs before you even start the initial sketch and values, thumbnails will get the rough idea in a whole so you can see if it makes sense at the beginning and then move on to the next step, try to think of a good background story for the characters you put in your artwork that will make it look more believable.
