good job, block in some more colors for the astronaut he looks doll.
always work on different parts of the painting at the same time that way your painting will look related to itself and try not to render a small part too soon like you did for the face and head cover of tha gal it's a common mistake for beginners, you can give the face some partial render so you will have character and encouragement to proceed with the painting.

Yeah you're right about the astronaut, about the face though
i just had to "finish" it (it's still unfinished) because in my opinion if the face of the character doesn't come out as i want, the rest of the painting/drawing doesn't worth the effort...i dunno it just something i belive in.

Here is the progress pic of my entry for PJ contest this month...

for some reason venom's ass looks kind of feminine. i think his buttcrack is too long, or it just needs to be more toned, maybe im spending too much time on his ass...

    ROFL!

but seriously he is right, the only thing that bothers me is that butt om, try using a reference of a muscular male behind you'll see it has more features and muscles and not all fat like a female's. also the Tank behind sinister has the same values as sinister, try lowering the weight of the tank or raising the weight of sinister, by weight I mean the more dark you put into something it has more weight and it will pop and the lighter something is, less weight it will have, this is very useful when you are doing black and white pieces or if you have same colors pretty much in the whole painting and you want to bring a certain portion of your piece out.
    besides that the piece rocks!!

    cheers

Hey guys and gals here is what i've been working on for the past few weekends.

It's called "IN MY ROOM" cause the back ground is actualy my room,
it started more as a praactice picture but i decided to finish it no matter what, i'm still not totaly happy with the result (colour and perspective problems...)
anyways here it is with some WIP stages...
No refs were used (except my room).
