    demon sketch(shading practice)

    i'm practing more each day and also come to these forums for inspiration and to keep on pushing me to get real good.
    Just really practicing with my shading here nothing special

    Any pointers?

    ok... few pointers.
    I think you should have more contrast. The nose doesn't come up in front of the other face features (is it the way you wanted it?)
    Also.. shading is strong related to form - take care of your "planes" and of the light source. Use form following lines in the hatch...
