Well, they're alot nicer than other ballpoints I've used for sketching. The RSVP ones from Pentel are a close 2nd in my opinion -- if you're after the nice non-globby narrow line.

The skb 1000's tend to slide around really nicely (imho) -- and don't feel as scratchy as other pens with the narrow stroke.

Unfortunately they're succeptable to the same curse of other ballpoint pens -- your friends will take them and not give them back.

i almost want to bid $1, if shipping is $5, that's 10 pens for $6, that's just good pen buying.

Thanks for the link. I've never seen a 0.5mm pen. I use a Zebra Jimney Fine which is 0.7mm I believe.

    SKB Pens

    Here's a poorly designed website that's selling the sb-1000's in the U.S.

They are actually quite nice pens, and don't cost that much (most pens in AU are around $3 each!).

It would certainly explain a few things, though, if it were.

Awesome, thanks mate! Ive been using the High tec cs for cafe sketching, very nice, but water soluble, so they screw up any attempt to slap some nice transparent color. Im on the Copics now, but the felt tips dry out and provide inadequate inkflow.

Wonder if they do overseas shipping.
