    Very nicely rendered. I like the wistful look on his face, and the colors that back it up. Well done. My only crit is that I really wish his head broke the horizon line. The fact that it doesn't throws the composition off for me.

    Thank you both for your replies! Nathan, I played with horizan line several times thinking the same thing that you were. I decided to have it above his head because it looked more like something stabbing him in the head than it did shoreline from a distance. I made sure the vertical pier post on the right pierced the horizon line to help anchor the composition.
