    Posing help?

I'm working on a series for my friend and I LOVE the way this torso came out, I just have no idea of what to do for the bottom. I sketched in something I thought could work but it still doesn't seem right.

I see what you mean, her left leg does look a little funky. Maybe you should try to define the knee a little less or try a different position. Perhaps knees together instead of legs crossed? or did you mean the foreground?

I think the problem with pen&ink is that there is no Ctrl+z command.

writers and artists have a lot in common -- we both draw from life, we both paint pictures, and we'll both spend to many sleepless nights on our work.

Ooh, nice pose. I do agree that the knees aren't quite there yet. I'd suggest getting a mirror, sitting like that, and then adapting the mirror image to the one you have here.

I wish I had a huge mirror on a swivel neck, it'd make this a lot easier. I'll be able to try on some big ones some time later but I thought I might just try to move the legs a bit more.

    Hey,
It's easier to say it with a paintover, note the corrections, especially her left hand and legs were bothering me but I changed some other curves too, hope it helps.
