Nice sphere studies, you illustrated the lighting well, all you need to do is focus on making them look more round. Great detail on the bow woman too, keep it up.

    I love those sky studies. ;A;

You're getting better at rendering metalic objects too. I really do admire your diligence with all these studies. Keep up the good work mate!

shiNiN, well i never draw the things i draw how i wanna draw them and how i see them in my head.. tho it comes closer the more i draw.. but i know i will never be abble to draw whats in my imagination .. maybe its cause its too fucked up.. or it keeps changing all the time.. tho the eyes caught my attention.. more then the others from previous updates.. so that means progression? i tend to wauw on progression

    keep it going.

    Hello.
I was viewing your paintings every day this week, they are a
real eye candies. I said to my eyes; "here, eat these beautiful
    paintings, that shiNIN did".
My eyes obeyed my command and they were eating up your exquisite
mind creations. The force is strong between your paintings and me.
That little 'pet urn' enchanted my weak mind, I had a great struggle
after watching it for twenty five minutes. You have something within
your spirit, something you have between your thoughts and your dreams,
you are one of the few people that I met, who can paint such a beautiful
snowy snooker ball. Your balls are just amazing, and you know how to
handle them with care. Your sensibility is purely visible through those
excellent magical paintings. I was suffering in pleasure viewing you ball
paintings, one by one. I viewed one, then I suffered a bit, then I viewed
another and suffered more, and so on.
You are a highly skilled wise and intelligent mind blower, and you just know
how to pleasantly surprise your viewers with your female paintings.
That female with a bow twisted my neck and back in two different
directions, squeezing out the apple juice from my throat.
The clouds performed an implosion in my spleen. The hard core moon-fighting
animal spirited super creature you are, traveling through different states
of human understanding. You open each and every day some new gates,
    to Valhalla .
Sorry, I ain't in one of my verbose modes today either, and I just cannot
think anything else interesting to say to you.
I just want to encourage you and I want you to visit me this evening,
cause there will be some Pizza at my house.

I've really enjoyed seeing your progress between page 1 and here! You're really getting the knack of digital painting and your color as well as black and white studies look great! I especially love the color studies of the clouds based on the time of day/color of the sky!

Sivonja: I don't really know what kind of bow she uses and on whom I just drew what Plissken made me to I don't think she's very skilled, she surely miss you both
dsacc: You're right but I can't draw a circle to save my life
Naidy: thanks! You made me to copy some more metal objects at least...
oma: Oh I'm an optimistic person And sometimes it's good to draw what comes, what wishes to be born instead of something in my mind... We'll see, I mostly just copy something or draw a neutral face...
Chaser226: I did that, of course... I see similar illustrations all the time, pretty basic. But too hard. Spheres has a shape I'm totally unable to draw, to begin with.
Plissken: I'm worried about you... Your comments are more extreme than ever and you must be in a very illusionistic state to think such things about my dull little stuff. I don't even use any imagination or something. But I treasure the fact you wrote your comments here. It feels more home this way

    aronjs: Thanks

Second half of winter. Not my time at all. I'm unmotivated and when I try to draw, I get tired and fall asleep. I'm some kind of animal who is inactive in winter. I eat yummy fruits and even have sunshine, but it doesn't help. Damn.

Almost nothing, just some sketches (I start to get enough from copiesI can't do them artistically - but the choice is they or nothing). Faces confuse me as always. I feel I have nothing to do with drawing.
Devastacio and Plissken stopped to update too. I should draw anyway but it was never easy.

    Damn.

    I'm sleepy again.

I fall asleep 2, 3 or 4 times a day, what is motivation, doubts about I should stop this pathetic struggle but I know I won't...
Well, I need spring I can say.
Today there was sunshine AND warmth! I took a long walk, it was great! And spent the rest of the day in the other room where there's sunshine. My room is so dark... T_T It has windows facing to south but a very tall and very close house is totally in the way, it's rare any sunbeam could squeeze itself into this place... But if my house will be built, everything will be different...
So... I gained solar energy instead of drawing digitally, drawing with pencil went a bit easier than usual. I don't talk about the quality I don't really know, honestly. But my hardest Bruynzeel Sakura pencil is 2B and it's very soft for delicate faces... But it's my fav brand with reason even if I don't know where to buy it anymore.

Plissken: It's strange but I simply don't know what to reply now. I must be reaaaaaally sleepy.

[B]Sivonja:[B] Yeah, I really rushed it and the lights on it are somewhat complicated, I don't quite understand them. It was just something to start the gears moving but it doesn't mean I should be careless about it and I felt like to redraw it Thanks!

Oh, pictures. It looks as if I do something... Well I guess some copywork is better than nothing When the time will come and my brain wakes up, I'll use that chance to do something more of my own.

The big face has really bad proportions, I obviously see that, it's so tly apparent...
I drew some faces I saw in the newspaper It's good because I usually collect photos about oh so pretty ones, they are easier to find anyway... But these are normal people.

    Late night fun:

    Anime clouds again.

Wow, it seems like I did something since my last update...
But I didn't draw ANY poses for Spartan Camp yet... And tomorrow I will ride my biiiiiiiiike in the warm sunny weather... It would be good if I could draw a gesture in less than 30 minutes... We'll see.
And I really need to draw enviros, silly me.

devastacio: Thanks... I'm a bit sad but your kind words feels good If you wouldn't be already my CA friend, I'd try to befriend you

I had a stubborn headache today and my fingers are hurt as well, nothing serious but they troubled me
But I still drew a bit (Spartan Camp deadline is a serious thing, I stick to SC, it's bad to think about what would happen to my almost zero figure drawing if I quit it) and got better for some reason
Silly copystuff, but still, practice *sigh*.
Some of them (the left part of that contorted pose, for example OTL) was very hard.
I tried to do them quicky (impossible for me), these are what line sketches for others, I'm bad with lines and I don't really think I totally need to be good with them, though I'd like it I think... But I want to paint, not using lines, I try not to use them too much...

    I will tell you in short version what happened to me today;
I was going to buy something to eat in the corner store and as I was
approaching the corner, someone stepped in front of me suddenly and surprised
me as hell. You know who it was? It was Sakura himself. Sakura Bruynzeel.
I got shocked. My heart stopped. He was walking and eating something with
Chinese sticks at the same time. My mouth started watering and he belched
loudly, it was gruesome cause pieces of bloody food were flying all around out
from his mouth. I shouted; STOP BRUYNZEEL! STOP YOU BASTARD!
He was laughing and belching at the same time. He was less charismatic than
a rusty pearl on the bottom of the ocean. He went into the store and I got to
my car quickly. I waited for him to come out from the store and I nailed him
with the car to the wall. I was shouting like; SUFFER SAKURA! SUFFER BRUYNZEEL!!!
    SUFFER SAKURA!!!
He wiggled a bit more in agonizing pain till he died.
There were no happy ending there either.
I just like how you render those metal shiny armored stuff, like the helmet
and other jewelry. You are becoming a big master here, and I am glad that
I can be in your vicinity. Sorry to hear that your head hurts, it happens to
me a lot of time, but then I just think on some positive things and it gets
better, or I just go to sleep. Your female characters and gesture studies
are excellent, they are making you to be sweet as a sun melted chocolate.
I like to be here in your sketchbook. I could spend my life in here.

Heyyyy! You know that celtic necklace you painted? I used to have one like that when I was 15, never took the bloody thing off until it broke. xD

I reallllyyy like the mugshots, I love it when I see artists tackle different races. It's great getting that chance to tackle varied subjects. Need to do some more of that myself.

    Now, where was I?
You, my friend, are making great progress. I know you feel down lately, but I'm telling you- your perseverence is invaluable. Your progressing with everystep, whether you feel it or not. SO with that in mind, DON'T GIVE UP!

Keep up the good work as always mate, I look forward to seeing what you do next.

Howdy! You're working hard! Sorry to hear that you're not feeling so hot, might be time to avoid milk for a while. Causes arthritic stuff and headaches if your lactose intolerant. Though, you might not have milk in your diet at all. I dunno, something to try!

Your drawings are looking quite solid! I'd suggest trying to get some variation in line weight though. Those heavy lines somehow detract from the drawing

Digital studies are turning into real little gems here. I like your painting workflow and think your form building is pretty efficient. Really soak in what you're doing- this is good information to retain. begin working in some more referenced finished "paintings" and see how far you can push it.

When you can't push any more- study what you couldn't push. It's kind of fun, right?

I did nothing but I want to write about it and reply...

    Well aren't you sweet...
I don't deserve such nice comments. In the past 4 days I simply didn't draw at all (I'm totally obsessed with planning my future home, my very first own house! I have not much money but I want it to be nice. I don't have a home now. It's a temporarily place I don't really like).
Well I did draw a few faces with pencil, better or worse but I killed them when shot in not proper lighting (proper lighting would be the Sun... but it's night time).

I have many picture ideas. OMG, I should do them at least in a crappy stilyzed way!!!

Sivonja: yes, sir! I theorietically now that But I just copied it, lazily (1st time) or more focused (2nd)... I guess I had some thought in my head the 2nd time, it can be useful sometimes

    Plissken:
Sun melted chocolate... That's almost so temptating as pancakes with nuts... I'm obsessed with it lately And it's so easy to do I need a new pan but I have a tiiiiiiny one as well, so I made lovely little easy made pancakes all day. Well not exactly but it sounds cute this way.
But you lied, I'm sure of it. Sakura must be a girl! Such a wonderful graceful soft quality, I'm sure she's a lovely, playful, happy girl who would melt you in no time if you two met in person.

Naidy: Yay! I just loved that photo of the necklace, I had an ankh! And a tiny dagger with something snake like things in it, I guess. Poor thing broke fighting against human cruelty... Drawing pins aren't to nail papers into a living tree!
And thanks for your soulwarming words, they feel the same read for the second time
I really should practice... Why is it so hard to start it I wonder?

ezekrialas: Oh. Your standard are too low... erm I mean, thanks Sometimes even I realize I improved. Too bad I never draw imaginary things

Kiwi: I think the culprit was the weather and the extra stress (a house is a pretty much thing)... I should drink less caffee with milk I know but I have no self discipline. But milk in pancakes is okay.... *resists the urge to make pancakes despite the fact some dough is in the fridge*
My lines... I don't like them myself. I don't want to worry about them, it's hard enough to make myself to draw something. It must get better with time

Quigleyer: Oh, really? I just feel I can at least copy easier and it's more fun... I don't even think much about them, I just try to produce more and hope it will make me better.
Hmm... I should do some long master studies... There's my wip Bougureau, for example...

oma: The helm? Even more? It's a tiny miracle in itself I draw simple objects (it helps if they are shiny though )! I don't want to play with them forever Maybe if they would be a part of a portrait...
But I wish to be quick, artistically messy more... Whatever, I just need to draw a lot, no matter what, sometimes I have this feeling. I need to learn to practice and keep to practice... I'm sure that's my only big problem that I don't do it enough.
I would do other things as well when I practiced more. I'd do imaginary things, enviros and everything.

    qlotzan: thanks

Sakura being a male or female, no matter, but one thing
is for sure, he/she is dangerous.
I would suggest for you to buy some abandoned creepy house,
then I would move in with you. That's my childhood dream.
4 days not drawing is not too much. There was years and years
in my life that I did not draw at all, and nothing serious has happened to me
(except that I went crazy, but I do not count that as a serious injury).
I just like when you do graphite work my precious.

    Plissken:
But. For me. Even a night is too much. Back to square one, lazy, pathetic, whatever.
For a while, I still drew little and was a little coward, no imagionary drawings or anything really really serious BUT I started to analyze and copy objects, it was fun, and every time it went well.
    But it stopped.
4 days is too much if it's me. I forgot how to draw, not like I ever had much clue about it. I'm scared... I'm an inactive pathetic lump and I have no idea how to get up. I guess the end of winter doesn't help at all.
I wanna draw. I'd feel so much better I'm sure.
But how? Maybe i should choose an easier target. But I need to draw an elephant figurine for a Tegaki event. I practically left Tegaki but I choose Silver to do something for Valentine's day. Me and my wonderful ideas... *sigh*

Even my English is fail there. I forgot even how to copy, I mean, I guess.

My humor sense is zero too. It' VERY scary.

I should do something very drastic. But what...?

I feel for you mate, It's terrible when you feel like you're bad at doing what you love- but believe me, I say it often, but it's because it's true. You're making progress.
As long as you're drawing, regardless of what the outcome, it'll help ease you out of that 'rustyness' which you get when you fall out of practice.

I hope you start feeling better soon, but if it's any consilation I enjoy every update you make. Hopefully you'll get back into enjoying your art too. Just keep hanging in there.

    Take a look? - Sketchbook - Tumblr -
Also, why not check these guys too?

My-oh-my, your self confidence is running low again.
That is just so not good.
But this little elephant is so zweeeeeet.
I would like to put him on a piece of bread and eat him.
What did you have for breakfast today?

qlotzan: I forgot to reply last time, I'm so sorry, I tend to mix q with g, even if I hate to misspell names Forgive me

My problem is I can't easily start drawing again even after a few days' skip. And if I'm extremely crappy and even lost, not knowing how to approach something, it's very disheartening and it makes practice even harder, I tend to stop.
Well I kept doing it and it got better and it became more enjoyable as well

Plissken: It must be its color, it's so lovely, it reminds me of honey and caramel and maybe even chocolate... But it's actually a wooden elephant. I always have trouble with wood texture, I tried some brushes but it never worked... But the original one is a wooden one, believe me. You should do with it whatever you wants but beware, my next one made from jade. It would make a very hard and unpleasant meal I think
I ate one and half... I can't say it in English. It's good you understand Hungarian.
    Krumplis pogácsát ettem
It was delicious and exceptionally beautiful, I have photos to prove it.
I made them of course. Baking is oh so easy and fruitful.
I didn't reply to everything you wrote last time. I wasn't in the mood. I think if we lived together in a creepy house, we couldn't stand each other and would go nuts - I'd lost my sane mature critical (over)thinking, I'd get loose and carefree and maybe I'd create very interesting art... Or not but I think there would be a fat chance for it.

ezekrialase: Yep, I always did Especially the heads. I tried to build faces from different angles a la Loomis, I drew hundreds of them and each one was a massive fail. But I can use the face types, they give me ideas. My own characters were too similar, I need much more variety.

    Some copywork for now.
Yesterday I drew a tiny bioethanol fireplace disguised a Matryoska doll

Studies for the Tegaki group Valentine day pictures I need to draw...

Lookie, I tried to texture it! It doesn't really went so well but it's a start

When I looked on those chocolates, suddenly I felt hunger XD Anyway you are getting better and better. I won't comment all of your updates I missed. It has no sense, I'm sure others said enough. Update you did and I like the most is #494. Those figures are very nicely done. I like the way you handle the color. When you paint, you start form grayscale and apply color later or you paint with color from the beginning? ;>

    Take me, I'm alive
I was always a guy with a wicked mind
    But everything looks better
    When the sun goes down

    I had everything
    Opportunities for eternity
And I could belong to the night

    Your eyes, your eyes
I can see in your eyes, your eyes

    You make me wanna die
    I'll never be good enough
    You make me wanna die
    And everything you love
Will burn up in the light

    And every time
    I look inside your eyes
    You make me wanna die

    Taste me, drink my soul
    Show me all the things
    That I shouldn't know
And there's a blue moon on the rise....

    P.S.
Én is szeretem a Krumplis pogácsát.
