    This looks like a nice start, and beyond what I could produce but from what I see it looks like you could push your contrast more. Maybe more indication of light source in the background...right now the figure seems to be lit differently than the bg.

    Lighting, perspective and composition need a little attention. The lighting is inconsistent, the perspective of the left building in the back ground doesnt match the right building. The composition is currently leading the eye out of the image in too many directions, the cut off arm.. the ships.. and the gun nozzle are all pointing from center out.

    Hope these crits help, its an interesting piece and i like the characters face, you should keep pushing this one, could make a faux book cover or something ;-)
