    Some mummies

    Hello there,this is my first post.After lurking here for sometime, i've decide to put up some pics for crits and opinion.My style is japanese,but my shading is somewhat westernish..so it end up somewhat odd..>_<. Any crits would be appreciate.

    about the pics:

    pic 1 - Some fallen knight's corpse turn into mummy, as a royal servant to guarding the ancient tomb.
    pic 2 - somekind of fan art, its mummy Saber!!
    pic 3 _ adventures just awake the giant mummy...they gonnna zone..
    pic 4 - adventures are surround by a mummy swarm.


    *my english is really bad, hope it not causing any reading problem. >_<

    hey fellow, I really dig the style and the designs. The problem is that due to this shading technique the characters in your images often blend together or with the background, so it is very hard to see what's going on. Im no comic expert but maybe look at some pros with similar style and note how to make it read better.

    but the girlish king looks so much like Sydney Losstarot of VS.

    I like the style and energy of the poses, very nice! I can see the Mike Mignola influence, so I agree he'd be great to look at for solving any problems you are encountering with the style.

    I think Mignola uses those stark black and white blocks a little more carefully. For example, if you use a lot of black blocks on the background, use fewer in the foreground (or the reverse). I think each individual figure you do looks GREAT, but taking the image as a whole you are getting us lost. Compose the panel with the same careful thinking about blocks of value that you use in your figures.
