woah that is really good man. is there a backstory to this, or just a random idea for a creature?

you seem to have a real good skill with painting. can't wait to see more

Thank you for the kind words. There is no real back story. It was born out of combining genre to generate new imagery. In this case aliens and zombies. Thanks again.

    Some doodly doodles.

These I actually did a couple of days ago, yesterday was preoccupied with trying to get a job but I promise a post later today with sketches done today. Until then...

Just finished 99 critter thumbs. Total time about 5 hours. These are the roughest rough pieces of shit known to humanity. Be that as it may I learned a lot about the value of having an extensive library in your mind. I struggled with variation a lot so I will need to work on building my library. I'm off to draw. Have an awesome drawing day everyone!

Continuing on the theme of the critter thumbs, here is a little guy with a touch of color and a little more polished.

Those critter thumbnails are awesome. There's a bunch there that you can elaborate on later. I'd love to see detailed versions of those critters.

    Keep it coming man!

your enthusiasm is showing. the thumbnails are great. you obliviously have a lot of fun drawing. with regards to variation think about the environment the critters live and what adaptations they will need to survive even go down the line of how they attract a mate. also look at real animals and how they have adapted and evolved over thousands of years like webbed feet or larger teeth.

    Randomness

Some quick ideas. Sorry nothing too involved, I am in the middle of an art test right now and that is taking up my time. Thanks for the comments everyone. I always appreciate feedback and critique. Later
