    Lovin the comic and animation combination youve got going on here. Wondering how long have you been drawing, and what kinda of things did you study to get this good at what you do. Really cool stuff so far, cant wait to see more.

    So Dynamic, so lively, so inspiring. This guy is no joke. I bet you have been drawing since you were a kid and it shows. Do you even need references for characters anymore at this point?

    Hello guys, thanx a lot for your kind words. I am drawing since I was a kid, of course, but I think about 90% of the forum members here have the same past Of course you need sometimes references, its part of the job. If you start to design a character, after the brief, you first check some inspirations, some references, to start to create an idea out of common, or at least, you try it Thats a normal process at the beginning. But you dont need that for simple scribbles or sketching in your free spare time.
    Here some more linework,
    Cheers, Eric

    Nice work Ericdee, very original. I admire your storyboarding, can you please take a look at my sketchbook and teach me some of that.

    Thanx guys, Iīm glad you like it. Bazooka, I tried to give you a little help in your thread, going to see more of your work Here some more rough storyboards and conceptart for a german motion picture, I did a couple hundreds of frames for that last year. Very sketchy style, very rough and quick work. Had to finish in two weeks about 600 frames, in that case, you dont have time to polish the work.

    I started two weeks ago a new sketchbook, sketches I start in the train(the german ICE is great, you can draw in the train, you do not take notice that you sit in a train, in fact, fantastic) and finish them in the hotel or at home.
    Cheers,
    Eric

    Thanx guys, I´m glad you like it.
    Here some watercolourdoodles for environments, the last three done in PS. In the past months I sketched a lot, but almost all for company, so I am not able to show that on a forum. I hardly had the time to scribble in free spare time, especially now, the wheather in germany is simply great at the moment Spring, yeahhhhhhhhh, time for Beergarden boys
    Cheers,
    Eric

    He just a great sb you got here! Very good lineart, and it's so helpful with your 2 to 3 step drawings . Also I think blue is a good color for the eye.

    Hello guys, thanx a lot for your kind comments
    @Mrpank
    I will post soon sketches from a project, wher I had to do a lot of "anatomical" studies
    @kischi&Master
    Thanx a lot
    @Tailyz
    "what do you use?"
    A simple Sanford blue pencil, nothing else I love working with pencil on paper, you do a lot at work digitally, but in my free spare time, I enjoy pencil on paper much more

    Here some more recent scribbles, the "comicstyle" ones are for friends, fun work, the rest from a lifedrawing session in the company, three hours ago.

    The rest of the lifedrawings you can watch in this thread:
