    hi all,

This is a speed paint. The scene depicts the assassin, named Jade, taking over the entire emperial army in an epic battle.

Hope you like it. c&c's welcome.

Before I commented on this rendering, I went and looked at all of the post threads that you started. The one thing that stands out in all of them, is your ability to create extraordinary compostions. this is one of my favorites of yours. With that said, I am going to say the same thing that I have seen throughout your threads. Study anatomy. Just making Jade look less "Area 51" like and more of Asain decent would be a vast improvement. I think that it would be awesome if you did study and practice anatomy and come back and do this rendering again. Great stuff!!

    Check out my sketchbook!!

Everything you ever said to me, very slowly, just drifted away...

first of, i think you quite talented,
but still i don't understand some of your mistakes... i mean it is quite obvious that her face ist off... except it is intentional, if not your skipping one step after the other... really listen to what others have to say and also make a sketchbook.
it's not that your lacking good ideas, and your good at your color choice too.. just take your time and study anatomy... there are some threads that have links to loomis books, i'll try to find them and post them to you

jergrif73 just said what I was thinking. To emphasize it:
Your ambition is admirable, this scene and composition will not be an easy task even for an experienced artist. However your "people painting' is failing you. What we see is rather an idea of a human being (eyes, nose, hair....) than how a human being actually looks. Keep studying and improving.

SAGIR, thanks, my aim here basically was to create a manga type of work and not concentrate on realism. But, you are right, i should have done my homework before doing this piece. I will be more careful next time.

    thanks again
