You're welcome Baka alam mo na itong mga ito, pero maganda ding pakinggan yung mga podcast ni Bobby Chiu. Nag simula din sya as a toy designer like you, ngayon nag wowork na as Tim Burtons concept designer sa Alice in Wonderland movie So cheer up man! It seems like you are dedicated naman dahil jinajuggle mo ito kasama ng work mo and for me I also like looking at my old sb here. Like, meron naman pala akong naging progress kala ko wala. Hirap din talaga dito, lalo na nakikipag sabayan ka sa mga magagaling. Nakakaintimidate! Pero masya din tignan yung progress from page 1 to present dahil pagaling ng pagaling yung mga works Ganun din nakikita ko dito kaya tuloy mo lang yung ginagawa mo, Super progressive yung works mo.

Saan o nakuha yung mga naked ladies? Nag enrol kaba ng life drawing?

Your girl is looking great! I love black and white images. It's such a challenge and really good practice for tonal values.
Wow, I really adore your handdrawn sketches. Getting consistancy in faces really is difficult, and you did pretty good, they expressions are fun. Even when I'm drawing my own face I still look different every time :0
Keep up the good work ! Your sketchbook inspires me

Maldrin Thank you! I do agree, her mouth is too small.
And thank you for the encouragement!
domo arigato Whoah...an artist of your caliber in my SB? Thanks!
Hope my attempts don't make you cringe in horror man..
    I'll get better someday!

Meduza Salamat uli kabayan! Your SB is an inspiring one. As for the life models, I just go to some hidden places here in china and I find them..( you know what i mean) although I've only actually posted 2 life drawings, the rest were studies from photos.
    Amianna Wow! Thanks!
Snootchy No problem man. And yeah, I always make it a point to learn something when I'm drawing/painting anything..frustrating yet fulfilling at the same time.
Grandmassa Mr. Spect Glad you liked the Yuuri piece, still doesn't look like her though..will see if I can fix her..Thanks for dropping by!

WOW! I can't believe I've missed so much. Fantastic updates.
You've really raised the bar here. The hard work is obviously paying off.
Your digital painting has improved a lot. And the anatomy studies are looking awesome.
You're making me feel like a slug. I really like the digital painting from the photo ref of Yuuri Morishita.

Please stop by my new Anatomy Sketchbook and critique the hell out of it.

yo angry, i'm really liking ur progress on the bikini babe as well as the portrait; it's really nice to see the progress shots of a piece big shanks =)

as for color on the bikini babe, i don't know if this is ur initial underpainting or so, but it seems a bit desaturated or muddy, i think it helps to make stronger color choices and sticking with it, i know the body has a lot of subtle changes in tone so it could be useful to just vary the opacity of the brushes when trying to twist and turn forms away from the light

can't wait for the next update!!

Hey, great to see some exploration of deformed creatures. This is where anatomy studies would pay off, I believe. Can't wait to see how the hair rendering turn out, its looking fantastic so far. I think its already implied, but the composition on the right works a lot better.

I like the skin fold detail on the hot girl Filipina, and while you're at it, maybe a crease on the lower part of her right bum cheek. The 15 min sketch is the 'kid in a candy store' idiom haha, or a food counter even. Keep up the awesome updates.

Thanks for taking time to post a comment in here guys!
crashMMVII yeah, he does resemble a tonberry! Had to google it to know what it was...yes, I haven't played in ages...and that depresses me when I think about it...
Crazy3Dman Man, so glad youre back! This SB doesn't feel normal without you dropping by!
phoenicorn Thanks for the compliments man! Glad you like the females in here!
snootchy Hi Man! Yeah, that was just an initial color pass, to build my courage up....color scares the hell out of me!
Strings Thanks for dropping by! That piece isn't a filipina by the way..though I should start to paint some hot Filipina's in this sb too...( happily goes to sift through my Lilly Thai pic collection...)
Not that I'm saying that the only hot filipina is a porn star, I just like Lilly Thai..ok? she looks like a highschool classmate of mine...
Rkhon Cheers to all mexican Santa's indeed!
That recent painting update you had is a killer!

Hey man. Your skin tones are looking way better!

I know the costume you added to the girl is a work-in-progress, but there's something awkward about the way it's fitting her.

I think part of it is because the feathery thing on her arm is hiding the line of her back so my immediate impression is that she'd looking chunky. Does that make sense?

The digital practice piece is looking really good.

So wait, you're telling me that looking at porn for four hours isn't research!? When does it qualify as such? Less than four hours or more?

Looking great, man. Can't wait to see that chick fully rendered and done in a way that brings you satisfaction.

Hey man - your edits on the gorgeous woman who is now wearing armor are wonderful. You did a great job fixing the mouth and a lot of other things. It's good to see you taking it so much further than where it started. I like to see people get pieces closer to completion even in a sketchbook.

Your loomis work is nice, as usual. Keep working the fabric angle. You're really good at panties and bras, and your man-clothes are coming along nicely. Don't take too much time away from faces and figures since that's the real hard part, but getting even stronger at rendering fabric will help the realism of your characters and concepts.

    Great stuff dude.

Those practises are good, i have to get bridgman myself. Youri digital i noticed that the shape of jaw is even more too steep like V in the progress picture, and leans little on the left.

Biggest problem i can see in your digitals are the unclear way of light, if you give it a direction, it will show as shadow that will make as read 3d form in creature, human, etc .Other thing to do is try coloured shadows, not black bt blue black, green black, red black that conveys form in shadow and makes it more three dimensional

pencils looking good, those characters are evolving

Hey Angry, long time no read

You're doing great, those sketches look awesome!

Just one crit though, the girl in pink, her lips are kinda small and pornstar-ish so it's hard to take her seriously as a tough chick

Hey Angry great progress, especially with the colors, one note. you seem to be missing a few spots of the grey tone still mainly around the joint, creases and scalp lines in some of your work. these are all SMASHING can't wait to see more.
