++Flesh & Foam (slight nudity)++ Page 3 : UP 2011/08/06
Hi everyone !
Been a looong time since last time I posted in the FF section !
I've been lately working on a comic project whose story takes place in the early XX's century. Indeed, it starts in 1910 and continues in, let's say ... a world of fantasy a bit out of time. The story is based upon the tale of Ys, a legendary city who was considered as the "Babylon of Cornwall" in the Middle Age.
I know it's a bit difficult to present a french comic book in an english speaking forum, but since many concepts are presented around here, and that we share here an interest for images more than for texts, here's the stuff, hoping it will speak enough for itself !
Hope you'll enjoy !

amazing. the colors and the lines work so well together. i'm assuming you did the whole thing, correct?
i really like your color palette. how did you make it look like watercolor? it looks like you did it all digitally, but used a sort of paper texture. I love real watercolors and I tend to used Photoshop like watercolor, but I've always disliked the lack of texture. But with your work, you really made it look traditional... unless it really was. haha, then i'm completely wrong.

yeah yeah yeah.
Lines and colours, combined together, are VERY interresting.
it's fresh and alive, characters are cool, ...
Good luck with this project.
PS: slight nudity... eh! please. We have to define where nudity begins here! Soon drawing a chick's ankle will be classified as nude! Gee!
And I don't say that for you sir

Great work. I particularly like your use of colour - cold blues for outdoor and warm oranges for inside.

Very nice work. I think you just broke my Tennessee High School french, though.
I was once on the receiving end of a critique so savagely nasty, I marched straight out of class to the office and changed my major (sketchbook).
