    Deadpool (redux)

Sup. Been away been a while and back. So I was never nuts about several elements of my old Deadpool sculpt and wanted to revise a few elements before I put it on ebay (I've completely given up trying to cast these things) Biggest change is the head. It's all new, he even has a forehead now. I also redesigned the guards on his swords to resemble his symbol and changed the coloring. I'm happy enough with this piece now that I can sell it without embarassment.

    Old Deadpool

    New and improved Deadpool

    Thanks for looking.

    Niiiiice Weapons!

I like the leathery feeling you have achieved on the body and pouches.

Was it you who recommended freezing the sculpey when doing weapons?

Being a dead pool fan I have to say I have particular liking to this sculpt, my only crit is for his legs which seem a little under developed mostly around his thighs. good paint job too.

Allright - I started freezing the sculpey for the weapons etc - but now I do it for the figures as well - in order to awoid squeezing the clay when working on things where I need to have the figure in my hand.
That advice was just brilliant - and your figure (along with the tutorial from Mr. Peter Könic) made me start sculpting. THANKS A LOT!!
