    the summer season sketchinghoardings

hello all once again I started off a new thread for the summer because my creativity& work peak up for the summer. Probably cause I have more time on my hand now, even though I have to juggle a shift job till school starts to save up much needed money.

And I've fallen in love with moleskines. Theyre just so confortable and I can easily take it to work with me when its not that busy. Unfortunately, living on a tiny island, I have to order them off the internet as nobody stocks them here.

EDIT: ( For those who dont remember or those who stumbled on this sketchbook, This was the year I decided to take art very seriously, probably around febuary it was. I started drawing randomly at 13, and digital at 14 but it was just a hobby and nothing else. I just resigned my current sciences course and hopefully starting a new artistic journey in which I AIM to improve greatly in a short amount of time, while enjoying the art&process of it of course. I also rather old D: and I turn 19 in august D:
Anyways now I have decided the pathway I will follow. Sciences were a good opportunity when it came to creature design, I got a lot of ideas off biology and chemistry that I developed and stuff. But art has become veryvery appealing, and I will even draw still life(which I dislike doing) to become better!)

    Anyways
heres some stuff from this week Mainly pencil work and some digital doodling

Moleskine page I did after work last week, took about 2.5 hours. Everytime I think of the phrase 'deus ex machina' an epic dragon battle comes to mind with a random pin k bunny jumping in. lolwtf

More afterwork doodling on moleskine with pencil(mechanical)

I was dissapointed in this, it was ment to be a fullscale digital drawing that I had started on opencanvas. One day I SWEAR ill redo it, I think it has a certain sense of power&hope imbued in it. It was a random idea that came to mind the other day. However I quick coloured it on photoshop and I dont think it looked as bad as it was. But still it will eb redone someday. lol

A late night opencanvas doodle that took about 1.5 hour. I really wish to learn to draw better anatomy mentally as I do with animalistic creatures (see note at bottom)

Page off my moleskine sketchbook I found cute . Arcylic and copic and pencil

Another page off my sketchbook, done in acrylic and micron. High influence from watching princess mononoke for the 4rth time or so

Oh, the above images were all done without reference. But in efforts to improve my main weakpoint, being human anatomy, I have been drawing up 30 heads, 20 hands, and 15 poses per day(even though I get lazy and draw 28 rather than 30 sometimes, I try my best to finish the dailyworkload) until lifedrawing class I signed up for starts. I'll scan them eventually when Im not lazy.

Crit on my sketches are very appreciated!

To be updated, some time this week. Hopefully weekly.

Oh and sorry for any poor english! Its not my main language but I try

Thanks very much for viewing it does mean a lot to me!

Ahaha, I love the bunny/dragon picture. You have a wonderful style, and so much potential. I used to be in the same place with human anatomy (and still am at points) since all I used to draw were animals. Just keep at drawing people, I can already see the improvement in your last upload!

you´ve got some nice moleskines in here. I admire the time and detail you´ve put into these sketches, that creatures are looking good. I specially like the blue one with the view angle taken from below. Keep posting, and don´t forget your studies. cheers
