    some posemaniacs for tonight.

Mostly 30 seconds, one spread is one minute.

I quite enjoyed this bunch. I feel I'm getting better at these.
I might just buy a seperate sketchbook just for these actually.

The stuff in your sketchbook is kinda wild, i dont know if thats your style?
Sometimes the drawings look kinda messy like if you where in a hurry.. ( ofc when drawing a fig in 30secs ur kinda in a hurry ) Anyway, if you keep continueing like this you will prolly catch the rythim of it and you will be able to produce very nice and alive looking poses! soo all with all,, keep it up!

rogerb: yeah, I tend to draw things pretty wild. I have to admit that the pictures of my drawings don't tend to help the cause. These next few drawings are a good example, I draw fast & end up looking at it in the mirror, seeing that half the stuff is crooked or backwards :/

on the red guy, his eyes are decent, nose & mouth are crooked :/
I suck at drawing mouths, I should practice those.

So my train was delayed by 2 hours today, so I had plenty of time to draw :p

I really like the cowboy en the singer.
There's 3 famous people I drew in the bunch. One is the cowboy, but there's no real likeness. Can anyone guess the other 2? :p

A quick Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec study.

He wasn't just good at making posters, he made some wonderful paintings aswell. Expect more studies/ inspired works soon.

A good half hour on this one.

    2 hours of sketching quickness.

I like to sketch quickly, it's what I do best.

It's mostly portraits but there's 2 1minute posemaniacs in there too.

    Constructive criticism is appreciated

    Hey
Thanks for the message. I quoted it, but I don't know if the web system will let you know. I think you should learn some bacis anatomy, at least the sceleton (by memory). It might help you with proportions and better shapes of bodies.

moriah soon! I'm planning an extensive portrait in about 2 weeks

here's some failed studies of Toulouse Lautrec again.

    Hi,

We had a college trip this week, called WorkWeek.
We had to design all of the albumartwork and flyers, posters... for a rockband.
We had to invent a name for the band and for their songs... it was a lot of fun :p

The first day those 2 guys dropped by & gave us a little private show.
We didn't know yet what the assignment would be.
We just had to sketch & take pictures of them.

We had to try & show the energy & the movement of these guys.
They did not stand still, not for a single moment :p

We'll here's what I made this week: (there's other stuff in there too, I'll add some explanation later. Might add some pictures tomorrow (we got a crash course photography aswell))

    forgot one.

    Concept for their concert.
They would be playing in front of a black print, on which are some sketches in different colors.
Depending on which light hits the drawing, it's either visible, or it isn't.

I like the red + green pen effect. It gives it a tiny bit of 3D pop. Those sketches are quite lively too!

My & my girlfriend escaped to the sea for a couple of days.
There was literally no-one there in the whole town.

It was great, I love peace & quiet

Here's some sketches, yes, I also post the bad ones :p

    Yes, it's me again :p

I've been trying to improve my lineweight a little the last couple of days.
You know, just drawing one line, trying to not make a mess.

    Tell me what you think

    thanks for visiting my SB

Ive had couple of unsuccesful attempts on viewing your sb.. it kills my internet and usually doesnt generate all pictures u uploaded.

What i like about your scribbles is diversity of subjects u pick for drawing and materials u choose to create them, i especially like the bird master piece (pardon me but i wont risk viewing first page of your sb again, im certain itll kill my connection again!) and architecture pieces.

voxmortem > yeah, I tend to kill bandwith connection all over the world, just too many images on one page, can't help it sorry :p

As for page 5, it's getting to be quite huge already :p

here's some stuff including a painting, it's sort of rubbish so I'll have to start it again.

I love the energetic and rythmic line of your work, but I think you need to focus more on structure and form of your figures especially. See if you can get your hands on a Hogarth anatomy book, his ideas for the figure drawing are helping my work a bunch. And, Keep posting.
