Yea, I can only agree with shadow1687.
The old man portrait is so incredible, the hair, the look in his eyes and of course the whole picture itself, great details ... stunning, for a couple of minutes Made my mind wander off.
I'm curios to know how much time you've putted into exactly that piece of art?

Feel free to check out my blog, with some very special pictures / Wall Arts .

I really like some of the portraits here! But as a crit I do find that some are a bit to smooth. However your faces with wrinkles and such are great! so ya. Keep at it.

My observational skills may be great but i said nothing about my drawing skills

Great studies going on, not much to say other than I'd like to see some more color and try to rely less on textured brushes in some of your digital pieces, otherwise, keep em coming

Amazing progress with the digitals, subbed.

    ...the imperfections make it interesting...

    Poetry man - Thanks.

    Miycko - Thanks for looking.

Dope Fiend - Thanks for the visit. I need to starting getting back into doing more finished work and working in colour. Doing my best to stay away from the textures brushes, I really only use them now to break up forms and add a bit of grit to an images. Nearly all of my newer work is mostly rendered with the basic round brush.

Really great! Mighty handsome monster I must say. I agree it is easy to get carried away with textured brushed, not saying you do but it's quite amazing how little it takes to get great texture on a form by a few simple brushstrokes to break up the lights etc.
I'm looking forward to seeing some more finished work from you!

So lovely! Those touches of salmon really make him feel believable.

i'd love to see a step-by-step or video, forgot to say it last time, subbed!
