    NoVerdikt's sketchbook

Whats up guys, I figured I would start posting everything I did each week from now on (well except not finished sketches and paintings unless I dont want to work on them anymore). So here's what I made in the past 4 days since I started summer break..

my scanner isnt hooked up I should probably do that sometime so I can add all that too.

    baking bread

Today was really unproductive...I was making bread and damn that stuff takes long to make, so that wasted a good part of my day, well I got this done and thank god I have an entire summer break to do more.

Hey those are some great things! I really like your aqua-stuff, but I have to say, the frowny guy, second to last, I think is my favorite.

    Hey nice new stuff.
    that last creature is great!
i'd say spend some more time rendering the anatomy and textures for these guys.
check out this tutorial for some inspiration and an idea as to what the hell i am talking about.

    Learning

After watching a tutorial that AJtron suggested I tried a new approach and I think it yielded some nice results, 45 min-1hr im not sure. I also did a masters studie of caravaggios work and realized how out of whack my colors have gotten, so I limited myself to greens and a hint of orange and yellow.

    Nother one

I'm feeling more and more inept as I look at what I produce vs my contemporaries at other art schools, so I'm gona be increasing my workload over the next couple of weeks to try and play catch up. Well for now here's this piece I did in roughly 2 hrs, probably a little more than that, im not sure.

Some nice work here. There all have alot of 'fun' in them.
Would love to see a few more refined pieces, instead of worrying about speed, but hey, it's a sketchbook.
