Love the last one a lot. And the sketchbook pages in the post before that. They look really easy and fresh.

You have an incredible sketchbook. I'd put a page of that to my wall, framed and everything. I really like your black and white pieces too, especially the ink ones.

Inishmore: Thanks a lot for your nice comment! that's quite something! =)
Mischeviouslittleelf: Thanks! that means a lot coming from you!

I just felt like painting kid's faces, as soon as I finish this little girl, I'll start studying other things, like anatomy and enviros, and more character sketching i guess
Also, i tried using a watercolor feel on the second one

I'm trying to do commissions or work on anything related on drawing, any suggestions?

The portrait of the Schnauzer looks great--I imagine pulling that off with charcoal is pretty tricky

    Studies studies studies and fun

Hi guys!! it's been sometime eh?

The7Artist7: Hey! thanks for dropping by man =)

Inishmore: It was somehow tricky, and exhausting, because of the freaking piece of charcoal i was using haha, my hand was hurting a lot. Thanks for your comment

Janos: ! Hey buddy, thanks for the comment, and sorry i haven't commented on your entries, i think... but they look faboulous, i love the style you guys went for, the lines and your colors matched perfectly. You guys showed that not only extreme render kicks butt, although you didn't get as many votes as you deserve, congratulations man
    thanks for the shoutout btw

Well, i got no pc anymore, and am using a pc from work... but i can at least upload some sketches!

Hi dmoreno, thanks for dropping by, well, to answer you quickly, i painted it with strong colors, but especially with hard edges, on almost everything, since watercolor is something like that (at least i see it like that), like, whenever there's a change of color in the painting, you can see the diference, as if there was no gradient between colors, so i just tried that, and then applied a watercolor texture to it

hope this is useful, or at least that you understood what i was trying to say hehe, if not, please ask =)

Got it; thanks for the quick response! I particularly liked how you played with the strong colors and their contrasts; and got such a natural feel to it.

i'm going to try it out to see where it gets me; and hopefully post some in my sketchbook to get some critique!

Great work DHT - Love your pencils and these last 2 are really nice. I love the energy and life in your characters! (it's 'Lion's Den' by the way - 'Lion's Lair' is the same meaning though)

One bit of advice - practice lower legs and feet!

    Keep rocking
