    Chinese Earthquake

    Chinese Earthquake
This is a piece in response to a lot of articles I read recently about the earthquake that happened out in China weeks ago. My overall point was that China had a lot of bad press because of the torch protests and, deservedly, their awful history of human rights violations. The quake though drew a lot of international sympathy and the nation that was putting up such a strong front was seen as legitimately hurt and injured.
    Thanks guys.

I like this, Great texture and design, works well. Nice to do an editorial ill. for all those people who are going through a hard time because of the earthquake. It's quite strong.

Very interesting piece, the only bit of critique I have is that his hair creates an odd tangent with the silhouette of the mountain.

poise- thanks so much! i was hesitant to post it because, yeah, i guess the material isn't quite the usual for CA. but i really appreciate your comments.

spotfrog- yeah, i think overall i need to adjust the contrast or maybe drop that mountain side down a bit. thanks!
