Thanks guys. I've been doing some random studies of explosions and fires the past day.
Started off simple enough with a little fire speedpaint:
But, I thought it would be more fun to try an animated study of an explosion, so here's that:

Hey, Sinix! Long time no see! That animated explosion is great and that flying machine has some interesting shapes going on. I've always really liked your painting style. It has a cool 'choppy' quality to it (for lack of a better word).

cool explosion study, i've animated one of those myself (though i mostly lifted it from 'metal slug').
