Schaal`s Sketchbook update November 2011 - last pages

    Hi, there
I've been away from the forum since last year. But is time to come back and be more participative than before.

For that, I`ll start and try to keep it updated as much as possible.

My sketchbook, with old and new stuff. Most of them 100% digital with PS or Painter or ArtRage or all togheter.

    I hope you enjoy it.

    cheers

Your style is really nice. Especially, the last one.

I would defiantly like to see some more figures.

    thanks Beastathon.
A sketchbook for me is an experimental lab. A place to explore the
tools (digital or traditional) and the way to use it to study figures, landscapes, hardware, or any subject. Most of the time I "surf on the waves" to explore possibilities of what I`m trying to do with my style.

Just put an image as attachment into the first post (Use the "go Advanced"-button and "manage attachments"). This way you can also include all your images into your posts without having to use imageshack or similar services.

Great stuff, btw! I like your style, especially the lineart is nice!

Wow, these are great! I really love your style.

To add a thumb image, go to the first post and edit, go to advanced and add whatever image you want to the attachment manager found right beneath your post.

    Again, awesome job on these!

    Hi,
Most of my early influences came from comic`s artists. In a general and randomic order these are the most important artists for my visual education:

Norman Rockwell, Drew Struzan, Sid Mead, Alma-Tadema, Benício, Jose Luiz Garcia-Lopez, Mike Mignola, Iain McCaig, Frank Frazzeta, Jeffrey Jones, Dave Mckean, Kent Willians, Gustav Klint, Egon Schielle, Lucien Freud, Frans Haus, Milo Manara, Moebius, Alex Raymond, Bill Sienkievicz, Manoel Victor Filho, Mozart Couto, Rick Baker, Ray Harryhausen, Stanley Kubrick, Steven Spielberg and George Lucas.

But I`m a real visual "sponge", every time I`ll try to learn from something new.
