    Learning Curve, Mimers sketchbook (latest updates dec 5th)

    starting up a sketchbook, both to push myself to draw more and hopefully get some feedback on my work. comments and crits appreciated

    and yet again..

    1. sketch from life, glasses and hairdo added later, making a sketch for a catwoman inspired by one of the latest chows, a realistic take on batman villains. crappy photo, no scanner
    2, 3, and 4 playing a bit with angel concepts, proper scans.

    some preliminary sketches

    some initial sketches, along with some cutting and pasting on the gargoyle and closeup of the face, trying to find a decent composition and a facial structure for a character portrait.

    yet another progress shot

    so, altered the face a bit, and started laying down base colours after working over the linework. still rough.

    edit one, altering eyes

    edit 2, hair and shirt

    edit 3, shading and refining
