Instrumental Music in the vain of Metal, Rock, and or Prog

    Hi,
I'm trying to assemble a fair amount of instrumental music that I can listen to when I draw. I have this playlist assembled so far which is only an hour and 33 minutes long.

Crush My Battle Opponent's Balls - Dethklok
No Dreams Breed in Breathless Sleep - Dissection
At the Fathomless Depths - Dissection
The Call of Ktulu - Metallica
Dusk Falls Upon the Temple of the Serpent on the Mount of Sunrise - Nile
Patterns in the Ivy - Opeth
    For Absent Friends - Opeth
    Epilogue - Opeth
    Celestial Crown - The Sword
    The Sundering - The Sword
    Bonus Track - The Sword
    Requiem - Opeth
Viridian - Between The Buried & Me
March of the Lor - The Sword
    Silhouette - Opeth
    Ending Credits - Opeth
Sons of Thunder - High on Fire
Khanrads Wall - High on Fire
    Headhunter - High on Fire
    Rain's Baptism - Sleep
The White Sea - The Sword
Laser Speed - Between the Buried and Me
Thunderhorse - Dethklok (It's basically instrumental...)
    Retribution (Instrumental) - Atheist
    Brains (Instrumental) - Atheist
    Speed Metal Symphony - Cacophony
    Concerto - Cacophony
I want 2 or 3 hours worth of music for long drawings. Do you have any recommendations?
    Thanks,
    Jake

NIN's Ghost album is great, 35 instrumental songs with great mood and atmosphere.
Have a look at a genre called Post-Rock, you might like it

I also have some of Porcupine Tree's stuff and a fair amount of it is instrumental and I like it very much.
I'm trying to find more stuff that's similar to this:

^Yep that's def a good one. Team Sleep also nice, sweet vocals too.

Hmm, instrumentals...I listen to this kind of music a fair bit too, usually soundtracks though heh. You pretty much have all the Opeth ones I could think of. I also agree with checking out Pelican's music too, especially "Last Day Of Winter". As for ones by some other bands:

Nine Inch Nails - "La Mer", "Just Like You Imagined", "The Way Out Is Through"...them and others on "The Fragile" album.

The Dillinger Escape Plan - "Crutch Field Tongs", "When Acting As A Particle", "When Acting As A Wave", "Mouth Of Ghosts" (although very short sections of vocals at beginning and end)

Cave In - "Ataraxia", "Decay Of The Delay"

Poison The Well - "The Opinionated Are So Opinionated"

    Thrice - "Night Diving"

Thursday - "Arc-Lamps, Signal Flares, A Shower of White (The Light)"

    Parkway Drive - "The Cruise"

Trolls in the dark by Rhapsody, fast and cool song, only like 2:40 minutes thought

Orion by Metallica, back in the good old days of Master of Puppets.

Apure en un viaje by Tierra del Dragón, yep, venezuelan, nevermind the pics.
