Final Poll: P.O.W.! 10: Zombies/Public Domain Story/10 (Ten)
Even with a ton of other hoo-ha going on, we end up with five entries complete enough to compete, totaling 64 pages. We also had five solid starts that couldn't get in because of interruptions and time constraints. I'd call that somewhat of a success for a Challenge like this. Congratulations to everybody who fought their way through to the end. The voting will be open for roughly three weeks. Vote for one artist, and just to remind you--the theme is one of three; Zombies, 10 (Ten) or a story from the public domain, with any interpretation you feel appropriate. The art could have been either black and white or color, so don't let that sway your vote, and the stories did not have to be "complete" as such, though they should make sense to at least a degree that we can follow them.
A note to donalfall, Slash, Sorknes, and Hideyoshi--part of this Challenge is teaching, and if you finish at least a few of your pages, I'd love to see them posted in the Non-Competitive Section to show others how wide a range of styles are possible. I have a 16-page piece on "10," but couldn't finish in time for the competition, so I'll post it there also.
Many thanks to all of you.
