    Painter 8/Wacom brush resize trick

I just found a "solution" to the annoying SHIFT+CTRL+ALT+Drag key combo for resizing brushes in painter. If you don't use the stylus button for anything else that is.
In the wacom control panel, select "modifier" as function for the button and enable SHIFT, CTRL and ALT. Then you can resize the brush by clicking the stylus button and dragging

    Thumbs up

It's a hell of a toss up, as I like to use it to change brushes on the fly, but you're right, it sure does help accessability for brush size! Thanks much for the great tip!!!:chug:

    Hi,

Since I use my stylus toggle button thingy for right-click and double click, and right click allows us to access contextual menus in Painter (in Windows, or Control-click on Mac's), I wouldn't want to lose those two capabilities.

Another way to quickly resize your brush is to use the ] key to increase brush size and [ key to decrease brush size.

In Edit > Preferences > General, you can set the number of pixels for each click on these keys so your brush size will increase or decrease in designated increments.

Please do not PM me with Painter questions. Instead, post them here where everyone can benefit from them. Thanks!
