It's really flattering to see such good work based on a photo of mine! Thanks! I'm updating my site with more photography soon, sorry it's all down right now. There's a lot of other new projects there though.

Cheers, keep up the good work!

Cool sketchbook, nice balance of 2d and 3d stuff here. Those last figure studies that you posted are pretty nice, I definitely see improvement from the first page. I like that creature concept that you made for Blackened, looks like an interesting mod, are you guys on Moddb by any chance?

thanks yeah we are just search for blackened game, progress is going a bit slow on the mod, havent seen much from the rest of the team but I have done a few more concepts for characters.

anyway heres some landscape speed paints, about 1 hr each, the first one is in cape town when I was there many years ago.

I'm scratching my head trying to figure out who the girl is that you painted.

I dig that ragaradon creature (I dig creatures, probably because I can't draw them myself). Looks like he could leap like a frog.

Fave piece has to be the Kingdom Hearts Winnie the Pooh. It's a bit unsettling seeing Pooh broken up into parts, though.

Hey man, I like your sketchbook quite a bit, good diversity you have here. Also I thought that track-Skii thing was quite unique. I love that digi of the girl in the white shirt and blue jeans, very realistic nice composition. Do you use Maya for your 3d rendering? Keep challenging yourself. Pce

P.S. I forgot to add that your landscapes are beautiful. I will try doin something like that.

hey emilysbrother I dont know who the girl is but she is based on a photo from ravivora.com

    thanks digitalinkrod

Danlucas cheers for the big post, I use max and c4d not maya but usually I end up exporting to a game engine like UDK or marmoset for screenshots and use those as final renders.

    my latest sculpt

Hey there. Thanks again for all the advice you've given me on COW. It's been really helpful. Love the 3D stuff. Cyber-Pooh is totally awesome. Love the texture you have going on in the latest one. One little crit for your environment speedpaints would be to use a harder brush for some of the highlights; some of them look like they're glowing a bit, right now.

A little character for a gameartisans challenge, I was going for a classical painter style so it was based loosely on a painting by william bougeaureau. Just diffuse colour on polys no other maps or lighting or anything.

Sketches of females for fun and learning, tried out a bit of a different painting style on each one and tried to keep it under 30 mins per piece.

So its just me that posts in this thread really, dont bother with conceptart.org much anymore as its too quiet but if youre lucky Ill post some updates every now and then.

fairly generic, I know, but Im glad to be doing some personal art again, its been a long time.

Wow just an awesome job on the 3d models since I love the small details like the wrinkles and dents and such with all the lovely textures.
