a very quick test of 3D coats new subtool management tree on a very old sculpt from like a year ago

just an idea I had this morning, might make this guy in 3D

the things on his arms are wind blasters, like leaf blowers but these ones are used for crowd dispersion

    Your 3d sculptures are kickarse!

And the ref. photo painting is really neat, you caught the feeling of it very well, altho maybe those pants could get a stronger color ?

    Just keep drawing mate !

showing my workflow to make this 2hr bust in 3D coat

thanks zou, yeah they definitely do, I learn alot about anatomy, colour and design in 2D and then applying that to 3D feels quite natural.

Hey, that's some really nice stuff! Winnie the Pooh! lol! The phone sprang out to my eyes as well

The colours you have going are looking good. Some times the light seems a bit off, but it's just nitpicking, really. Cool to see you're trying to manage the 2D in addition to the 3D

When it comes to feedback, it sometimes is slow. Just keep adding stuff, pay other people visits in their sketchbooks and in general keep working, and your page views and replies will come. A lot of people here do 3D, but the 2D crowd is in abundance, so adding your 2D stuff is probably your best way of getting people to remember you in here.

Sorry for being a little slow at looking myself

    wonderfull 3d work !

i like the movie stills but i would probably shoot for some still life where you have created certain mood with your own lighting then capturing that

    keep up the fight !

thanks people. Ive used zbrush and mudbox and 3dcoat they all have their strengths and weaknesses. 3Dcoat doesnt really compare to the quality of polygon sculpting that zbrush gives but 3Dcoat has voxel sculpting which is much more entertaining and creative than zbrush and also 3dcoat has a great set of easy retopo tools not to mention all the painting tools. Thanks alot carnal Im flattered that anyone would be inspired by my work

Im thinking of using no shadows and doing a render with the skinshader in marmoset for my xmen blink character in the comicon contest.
