    DVD Screenshot program?

Anyone know of a good program or video player that will take hires screenshots of dvds? I know VLC player and WinDVD take screenshots, but they're a little small.
    Suggestions?

I'm almost certain that Windows Media Player has a screen cap functions... although I can't see to find it now, but I'm so sure I've used it before.

I didn't know about that one but I found it. Its still only saving it as 853 x 480. Is there anyway to take larger screen caps?

Can you temporarily turn off your video card's "hardware acceleration" setting?

If you can do that you can just print screen all you want.

I'm using Windows Media Player Classic, in File/save image. Easy as that, as for the size, try looking for a web site with highres caps. I know there's one, really good, but i don't remember the address.

480 verticle lines is the native res for dvd iirc

you would probably get a better result upscaling in photoshop than using a media player
