it's been a while.
i'm starting to post a bit more like in the past.
here's a bunch of things i've been doing lately, in my spare time.
that second one was strongly inspired by moket's and mister blackfrog's pieces with dualtone textures. i did that first one soon afterwards.
third piece was for irene gallo at tor (thanks for the nice interview btw ! ).
the tank image was just a brush test done with mister's cicinimo's brush pack.
oh, and by the way, my book STRUCTURA is out. on the DSP site for now, and on amazon in the next days according to what i know.

your ship designs are always beautiful.
Have you ever tried to redesign a ship by John Berkey? I think your style would fit great with a redesign of his.
I love the book, man.
sparth, your new book is awesome...the paintings look beautiful in print...mad inspiring, as are the new works, but i'd expect no less from you, sir . hope you and yours are all doing well... keep the fire.-c36
I only live for today, but I'm one day behind.
Fantastic work as always, the tank image is great,
I love the atmosphere you manage to get into your work. Do you find it hard to put the time aside for personal work? Personally I think that When you draw for a living it can sometimes be hard to sit down at the end of the day and get your own work done, it does help if you have a crummy brief at work.
keep up the great work, your an inspiration.

great stuff/style, I enjoy the detail and atmosphere created with such ease.
I have always loved your work and wow!
You have some very cool pieces there. I like the atmosphere and the color. But, in the first two, you seemed to have used a strange texture or brush, it works well in some places, but it seems out of place in others, like the outlines. Other than that, fantastic.
Amazing! The first two are very bold and powerful, it's great to see you experiment with different techniques such as the dualtone textures.
Thanks for sharing!
really nice paintings!
Life is a long lesson in humility.
thanks for sharing this pieces////
I am happy to see that you are still producing some pieces.
Nice work once again. I do not know why but finally, the painting I really enjoy the most is the last sketch, maybe because it looks like an extract from a movie.
Vivement le bouquin sur Amazon!
That tank man, not a usual SparthPiece but I really like - a thumbs up thread
too nice! love the dot grid on the 1st and 2nd one.
it's a nice bonus to make your work special.
