Partisan-sorry sory sry . THnx for supporting mate!!!
Ok first of all i want to say sorry for being that absent and for that reason not being checking your stuff very much . 2011 is already strange for me with a lot of stuff here and there.
I am having a lot of work to do for the game at mountainwheel, and for uni and also the Good News is that i got a freelance concept art job and i am working on a interesting project. Also that job really fills my portfolio with some stuff i needed to have in there and also helps me support my parents and me since we are on some difficult times.
Ok so i wanted to say a BIG thnx for all the great support and i will try to be more active. Its hard but i will try.
Ahhh i forgot. While i went in my hometown for easter, my pc burned(its motherboard) so i had to buy a new one (and i couldnt work for a lot of days) and now i am expecting the screen to burn soon (because of the blinking it does)
So here i was working some more with pencils and other things i have done this time. Unfortunately job things and mountainwheel things are all under NDA so cant show any of these.
THNXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX and lets keep up mates!!!!
Whats up kostas.
Sorry to hear that you've been having some ups and downs.
Congrats on the freelance work!!
The studies still look great. Hope the rest of the year goes a little
bit smoother for ya.
Just have fun.
Good to have you back to posting kostas. Yeha somethimes we all need to take a break from CA due to rl stuff, but you have a great attitude and I'm sure you will sort out whatever needs to be done.
I love all these pencils and light studies. I really don't think any artist can ever really do enough of these light and form studies, particularly when they work largely from imagination in concept-based work. Keep on doing what you're doing and roll on page 100!
hey, first off congrats on the freelance work! the amount of studies youre doing makes me so happy ! that piece where the girl is ripping fire from her head is just awesome. nothing put praise from me man, keep it up!
wow dude those structure and anatomy studies are ACE ! don't have to be sorry, you're still making good progress
i'm very glad you have works and earn some money. i'm curious about the source/book you're using, i'm also practicing the head structure. i just discovered the oreilly method (yeah shame on me)
good luck with your practices and you screens
Hey Kostas, great to see you posting again! While your computer may be giving you some woe, it's great to see all of these pencil sketches!! I really dig the figure work and head studies, and the confused 2011 robot is really interesting as well.
kudos on the freelance work, hopefully you can share some of your projects soon. Keep it up!!
p sage-hehehe Thanks mate, yep thats it!!lets keep up
ThomasM-Thank u very much mate . Researching things by using simple methods and objects, i think thats how i learn new stuff, and what i have already learned i did it the same way. Simplifying, imagining, and understanding
DefiledVisions-hehe Thanks man , lets hope the monitor doesnt go off very soon
Fetsch-Thank u very much mate
Lang Oulk-Thank u very much mate, thnx for encouraging .Glad u like these
Ludic-Thankieees mate, thats nice to hear
zou-Yo Comrade thnx very much mate!!!Well i am not actually using any source/book. If there is a book i often go to take a look is the books of loomis. They inspire me a lot. Other than that i enjoy researching things by looking at them, simplifying them, learning about their nature etc etc. the fun of exploring . I think i have seen this method you are telling about. Try to find whats fit for you. I will try to sketch my latest one soon.
AustenFM-Thank u very muuuch mate !!! Yeah maybe sometime i will be able to post a work dump in finally finished section heheheh

Hope it helps boost ideas, solutions etc.
Kosta you're going to get my jealous! I wish I had the drive to practice THAT amount of studies. I mean for me 4 hours of just studying faces and portraits is pretty good. Your stuff looks like you're practicing, eat, sleep -> repeat. One of my fav Sketchbooks so far. Keep that up!
so much good information in all your studies especially all the stuff on color and texture and such thank you great stuff cant wait to see more
Love you sb keep it up
