The three robot guys look awesome!! I have a piece of advice for you that Jason Manley and John English mentioned several times in the class this weekend: be aware of your light and dark shapes, and put light things behind dark things, dark things behind light things. For example, I think you should make the background figure lighter, or make it fade lighter as it goes down. Then you can see the shapes of the three guys better. Does that make sense?

Again cool chars man , the tip I would gave you is to change you're color palette once and the while. Most of your figures have a brownish tint.

Cacodaemonia-Thnx i completely understand.I have some similar system,i have a pitcure in some of my older posts
Giorge-I printscreen cause i wanna give the more info the possible.Someone may be interested in layer count or continues flattenings(what i do) or something else. Thanks mate , i will try to finish it when i find time
Lyno-Thnx mate.Yes i know, it relaxes me a little but i am gonna change it as i go
    Fumble-Thanks mate
    Rotor-Thnx mate

Ok i am sorry for not updating.I am damn busy training my 3d cause i got a job doing 3d advertisments for local TV channels.I am not sure if i will be able to keep up with this job since it requires animation, texture, modeling and all in levels that will seem kind of real, so since i have less knowledge toward 3d than 2d things will show soon...
the good thing is i am adding a little in my 3d

see ya and thnx for supporting!!!

hey, that's not a bad thing doing 3D: your skills in 2D will make you better than 3D artist without 2D background.

it can even help to speed up 2D illusration: many illustrator uses a base mesh ( don't spend time on rendering light and shadow ) to achieve great results.

and 3d makes you earn money

    have fun

    theUNKNOWNsketcher-Yep mate i agree
    Lakka-Thnx mate
zou-Yeah i understand comrade, but instead of doing training i am actually spending time trying to find why the bones are fucking me up in animation. So the result is that i am probably gonna be fired lol. I do the model ok but the animation goes all rough. Its kind of expected cause i have understanding to some points.I can do modeling, a kind of texturing, some animation ,anyway i can do a lot but only in some level.
A lot of anxiety about this whole thing.Thats bad for my health and my training in illustration and concept art.

Anyway thnx for the support, here something quick in zbrush and photoshop.
    see ya

oh i see , i really like what you are going for there , the mix between the zbrush and photoshop, you could even mix them for some full blown illustrations , might come in hands and if your in a ditch at the moment , zbrush might get you out really easy , do some light/dark studies ... i see a few glitches there , and if you use photos try only ones with natural light , I say that i lots of people that take up photo study and use ones with artificial light many of them use photos that are flashed out and the planes of the face become reduce substantial , take care

    awesome stuff man
love this piece http://www.conceptart.org/forums/att...1&d=1255297573 please finish it ;D
And I feel you with the advertisement. I worked there too for a short time (vacation) and had to do 3D too. And my knowledge is near zero in 3D so to speak ^^; bad feeling. But in the end, it was a good experience, so I hope you can get something positive out of this too.

    wakoes-Thank you very much mate
Giorge-Thanks mate.No i dont use photo or anything.
    Thisisbiblo-Thank you very much
zou-Thnx comrade.Ok i checked something in the help files and i found out how to make very good adgjugments and i managed to do nice animation. When i will be free from this work i will do my characters in 3d and i will animate them.It just happens to me that when i am doing something else i dont have the same passion to stay hours to do personal. So for now quick things.(and by passion you can understand the rythm of production i am talking about )
    B-Man-Thnx mate
Spaggen-Thank you .Yep dont worry, since i am more into illustration now i will finish it someday+ the fact thats its under my personal comic+game project.
arestocrat-yes i already gotten more experience in 3d but at least for some days i was full of anxiety and damn thats the worst thing for health pfff.Anyway i feel more relaxed now.Thank you , i will finish it someday
    Sublimus-Thnx for the support mate

Ok something i had fun with .Its a quick composition sketch/greyscale for something i wanna work. All these are actually under the same sci-fi project and i am actually gonna work a comic sometime because the final "homework" in the university for me will be a comic work, since they cant understand game art but anyway i also wanna make comic, because from a comic you can then produce something else blablablabla....
Anyway thank you all and sorry for not posting frequently

(btw+ the pieces i have done for my battles with B-Man )
and a animation thumb for cow i did back then but i havent found the time to make more things

I always like your updates, and the last one is no exception. Really good digitals. I like the first and second one, and the animation is hilarious!

Keep it up mate, and thanks for stopping by my sketchbook so often, I appreciate it.

You're a drawlin' machine! I've been following your competition with B-man, great stuff! The ice gnome looks great, as does your current one, I always love the great sense of form in your finished works, They almost look like 3d renderings.

    Keep it up man!
