Its' free and it takes less than 10 seconds!
the graininess in #3942 thee headed dragon and mage piece is looking fresh, would love to see you incorporate some more of it in the future. Also, I've noticed that once you go and simplify certains features as just simple planes, I have even a nicer time viewing at the pieces..
the wip without the character is a very strong piece in http://www.conceptart.org/forums/att...1&d=1380613874... the dark plane from the shadow has an immense depth and simplicity, could love to see more of such planes...
keep it up mate
Yo, you know you'r best of the best. The pencil thumbnails are my favorite, love them!

Hey Kostas, I've been extremely busy in school but I definitely find an urge to check back on CA to see your sketchbook. I don't think many people realize that you have such a mastery over light and understanding on how forms turn, due to it's interaction with light. Keep rocking man, definitely one of the best right now in the field of digital art, in my opinion.
Hello mates, thanks a lot for the great support, i will soon update this. I was/am in a kind of break while doing some studies on the side, focusing a lot on some things. Had my tablet unfunctional so i just received the fix some days ago, and will try to step back in the rythm now. Have to keep pushing hard!!! Will comment separately then
Your work is mindblowing, mate!! Subscribed! I know that I don't have a lot in my sketchbook yet, but I'll be forever thankful if you can maybe give me some guidance so that one day, maybe, I could come to your level.
Awesome work, mate! So inspirational.
Thanks so much for all of this, especially all the explaining and tutoring you do.
Keep being great!
Arden.-Thanks very much mate !! no problem
Jai Kamat-Hahahah thankies very much, your work is great. I understand what you mean, and i am trying to improve these aspects . Yep the color stuff helped a lot, but again values always need to be taken care of at the maximum, so i am still finding some issues with my values.
p sage-Yooo chad!!! Thanks a lot mate!! Heheh still need to keep pushing hardcore. Need to make some understanding to become 2nd nature.
PieMonster-Thankies mate !!! Yep trying to find a proper way to handle values and color silmultaneously. Will eventually find the way
Lakka-Yo mate!!! thanks very much , i think that grain was a product of a more chalky brush. May bring it again, i also enjoy the simplified ones but have to find the proper balance.Glad you like it

Harmageddon-No problem mate, thanks very much !!!
Hello mates, ok my tablet was unfunctional for days and had to wait for the fix, so some of them are with mouse. I have done lots of sketches and trad stuff so i guess i will photograph them and upload, although they are not fancy, but served their study/experiment purpose. I am trying to do very focused training so that i can break the technical barriers. Now its more about mind concentration rather than hand movement.
Thank you all very much for the great support!!! Lets all keep up!!!
Here also a video process
Welcome back! So nice to see your work man! It's such a treat. Really made my morning. What you write about painting in really low contrast with 2 values close together and then use auto-tone to push the contrasts really far is fascinating. I didn't know you could even do that. It's definitely something I have to explore myself. The textures that appeared in the toned piece are really nice. Thanks for sharing
amazing stuff as usual! Love the red bird is really nice contrast
Hi mate. Excellent effort through all that trouble, not having a tablet. Is that the Parthenon in flames? Oh, noes! The mother country!!!1!
Terrific work on those landscapes--especially the skies.
Keep up, mate! The tablet can't let you down any more
hi there kostas
i'm really thinking CA is eating some of my comments ( just when i succeded to critic one of your work )
just many things i like (the could dragon , the burned wood : composition and pers , too many good experiment)
i'm really thinking those experiments should be included in your portfolio:
the demo reel , wich is video could have as a transition your many sketches folding quickly (like a flipbbok) , they are too god to stay just in your sketchbook
take care mate
Wow. This sketchbook is quite a find for me. I can see myself coming back to it a fair amount. I'm especially intregued by the very faint way you say you start out your images.
I love the depth in the huge monster near to top of post #3972
Keep it going!
amazing updates, your idea generation is great.
DefiledVisions-Yo Murli thank you very much mate !!! We have to keep up, there are tons to be found, everything should compliment a fundamental element, making our foundation stronger overally.
alexson-Thank you very much man!!!

MrFrenik-Yooo mate thanks very much!!! Have to keep pushing
p sage-Thanks very much mate .Hahahah yep something like that . I am gonna keep up but i have to maintain a good balance of breaks to avoid long time burn out
zou-Yooo mate hahahaha i understand, this sucks . You think so? maybe some separate collection, thats very encouraging to hear mate. Lets keep up!!!
PieMonster-Thanks very much mate!!!Glad you like it, have to form more stable processes, hopefully all these small information will be compiled into one big that will make things easier
Rotor-Hehehe thanks a lot for the love mate !!! However i have dropped the production rate due to being some more busy this period, but will keep up anyway.
Chris-Garrett-Hey mate thanks very much for supporting!!! Nice to hear you like it , will try to keep up
GrayPersona-Thankiees mate, i try to improve this by limiting the time that is needed to think about technical stuff, like lighting depiction etc.
TNiznet-Lool thanks very much mate !!!Lets keep up
Ok i am sorry for all these late responses etc, but thankfully i am very busy this period so i am usually doing some small focused training on the side with small experiments and quick stuff. I will post here some thingies.
Thanks for the great support, and lets all keep up!!!!
Here some of the process videos
Man this is just brilliant. I know some of the pieces from facebook but after looking through your SB for long time I must admit that my mind is blown. Totally inspiring to see such a huge amount of studies, ideas and descriptions. Enormious hunger for art knowledge, I like that!
Love the gnoll-looking dude! I can even see him in the environment under, fighting a Viking.
Keep up the awesomeness, will definitely visit this one in the future!
New World Creation: Designers Wanted – Environment of the Week
Hey man, just wanted to say hi, your stuff is looking as great as ever,
even better than ever in fact, definitely beyond my grasp of lighting
and controlling the viewer's eye In fact your work still gives me
pain sometimes because you have lots of experiments that have a really
interesting concept or idea and I just want to see a finished version
I was wondering if there is any specific type of project you really dream
of working on, or a particular company you dream of working with, or if its
more about the journey of learning right now?
Also, you've stated before, I think, that you are not entirely comfortable
with color yet, don't quite understand it. I can see that you have grown
incredibly in the last year, even in the last six months, in being able to
convey different types of mood, especially with light and texture, in your
work. I'm just wondering what is it about color that you feel gives you
trouble or you don't understand yet?
Sorry if I've been a bit of a hermit lately, cheers and good luck
sketchbook...a kitten dies every time you don't comment
“When forced to work within a strict framework,
the imagination is taxed to its utmost – and will
produce its richest ideas. Given total freedom,
the work is likely to sprawl.”
- TS Eliot
You've really reached a point well beyond most that is really fascinating. You're creating not just pictures, but worlds, feelings, emotions, environments and full on intense characters!
If all of the moving elements and compositional parts are coming from your head, then you've developed an extraordinary imagination and ability to visualize that I'm very envious of. You're gotten to a really advanced level that should put you where you want to be (in a job of your choice).
Of course we never quit learning (KEEP UP!) but are you where you want to be for getting the type of job you want? Are you freelancing? Because if not, you should be. Or you can create a bunch of work for yourself... (FINISH SOME OF IT!) for a portfolio, and just work intensely on that... doing only the type of work you want. And people should arrive at your door.
I think for you to take that next step, you might want to finish off some pieces and put together a portfolio site.
As Blud says, there's not much I would change in what you're doing. You might want to go to a workshop and talk with a working professional, however, and just take what I say here in stride. But I do believe the key is to do several awesome finished pieces... which should serve as BAIT for your next jobs.
Good luck, and KEEP UP!!
The stance could be a bit wider, perhaps with the left leg further in front, but the balance seems fine. The vertical line should be following down through the spinal cord, and through the sacrum between his legs, so if anything, the lines might be drawn a little off balance, but the character seems to be pretty good.
