    Cthulhu!

Kind of. More a piece about and inspired by HP Lovecraft and his writings. There's 3 elements to the piece: obviously the big tentacled guy which is pretty clear for Lovecraft having people embattled with Old Ones, the panel within that one is of HP himself who is on a backdrop of celtic spirals in stone, and the bottom is about the New Englandy mystery of the works so it's a panel of rainy cobbled streets and muddy footprints leading out of the picture. Let me know what you think and thanks!

The Lovecraft likeness needs work. Also, beware of the near tangent the upside-down figure's fingers are making with the bottom edge of that panel. And get some cobblestone reference, what you have now look like kitchen tiles. All in all, there's a lot of good compositional and value stuff in the B&W sketch that you're losing.
